When we were buying JKH in 2007/8 we were engaged in the Final Eelam war. 2008 December Global Fiancial crisis. No one knew the end of the falling and rock bottom.
I was not buying chunks and never stopped Dollar Cost Averaging. You can see the quantities and values I was buying and definitely I was not a Big Fish.
Can we follow Buffet strategies?
Does it apply to SL and CSE?
Ok..

Your past will teach you more than anything else.
Now I traded JKH initially and the trading was fast buying and selling

So re-entered believing half heartedly the price will further appreciate. But unlike earlier 1000s , I bought in 100s so I can easily average if price falls. and it happened.
When it fell down to 118 I again bought a 1000 to average and with the view that we are nearing the rock bottom. It failed.
At 86 I bought another 1000 believing that it is the rock bottom. Wrong.
At 50s I bought 3000 beleiving that is the rock bottom and truly that was.
Finally I have invested around 1 Miilion averaging 102.90 and a good quantitiy to be sold immediately after ending war .
Had I bought Chunks?
had I not averaged?
Definitely Ying-Yang would come up with more profitable sloution showing how foolish I was. But my strategy worked for me.

Your own mistakes; success should be the pillars of your trading strategy.
As trading; investment inextricably intertwined with your risk appetite and emotions .
There won't be another person who is a perfect match to your attibutes.
So it's up to us to formulate a strategy at which we are comfortable with.
So the past data will assist you immensely in formulating such.

for example, let's say someone bought JKH at 50 Rs at 2009 Jan. if he is a never sell investor as of now his capital return is 200%, 20% annualized return

My friend,
How can that be 20% annualized?
In investments, we should talk of effective compounding rates.
It should be something like 14.1%

Dumping money in a sliding share is called a 'strategy' ?

Ok call it options
If the share you purchased slide
1. Sell it at loss- stop loss
2. Do nothing- laissez faire
3. Average
What else can we do ?

The strategy is to know, what to do of that with which share.
What you do with JKH might not have worked for; say, GREG.

Shares like TPL, Asiy, Vpel, Rexp etc if entered at the right price will give you higher dividend yield than FD rate.. so you can happily hold unless ground situation change...eg;Iran sanctions., electricity rates etc.
Shares like Greg, Blue, East, Lanka Cement, should not be averaged and just stop loss will work. Just trade

Not dehydration bro;
it seems there is some kind of hole in the pot and water is draining out.
You have two options;
1. Fix the hole
2. Find a new pot
