Cabinet approval was granted to award licenses to Sinopec, United Petroleum, Australia & RM Parks of USA in a collaboration with Shell PLC to enter the fuel retail market in Sri Lanka.
The 3 companies will be allocated 150 dealer-operated fuel stations each which are currently operated by CPC.
They will be granted a license to operate for 20 years to import, store, distribute and sell petroleum products in SL.
A further 50 fuel stations at new locations will be established by each selected company.
This should have been done a long time ago, to stop all the bullshit in CPC.
Shell PLC සමඟ එක්ව Sinopec, United Petroleum, Australia සහ RM Parks of USA වෙත ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ ඉන්ධන සිල්ලර වෙළඳපොළට පිවිසීමට බලපත්‍ර ප්‍රදානය කිරීමට කැබිනට් අනුමැතිය හිමි විය.
මෙම සමාගම් 3 සඳහා දැනට CPC විසින් පවත්වාගෙන යනු ලබන අලෙවි නියෝජිතයන් විසින් මෙහෙයවනු ලබන ඉන්ධන පිරවුම්හල් 150 බැගින් වෙන් කෙරේ.
ශ්‍රී ලංකාව තුළ ඛනිජ තෙල් නිෂ්පාදන ආනයනය, ගබඩා කිරීම, බෙදා හැරීම සහ විකිණීම සඳහා වසර 20ක් ක්‍රියාත්මක වීමට බලපත්‍රයක් ලබා දෙනු ඇත.
තෝරාගත් සෑම සමාගමක් විසින්ම නව ස්ථානවල තවත් ඉන්ධන පිරවුම්හල් 50ක් ස්ථාපිත කෙරේ.
මේක කරන්න තිබ්බේ ගොඩක් කාලෙකට කලින්, CPC එකේ තියෙන ගොන් වැඩ නවත්තන්න.
