According to this common definition, decades generally encompass the time span from years ending with 0 to years ending with 9, such as 2020 – 2029. By the way, the same could technically be said about centuries and millennia.

Today a very good article of W.A.Wijewardena was published in Daily FT opinion. The writer has touched South Korea as well in his article and referred to Genaral Park Chung-hee as well.
One important fact, the writer has highlighted is the main growth engines of SL tea, rubber, coconut, textile and telecom has reached maturity.

The immediate need is Sri Lanka should grow enough grass to feed 6.9m, who brought back the same rouge regime into power.
after we are self sufficient in grass, other food prices will drop..
I predicted in this thread the market will start declining after appointment of state ministers. that is happening right now, and this decline is for next 5 years. sooner you get out, better for you.

Bad news is like Music to investors.
Even during YP era I started this thread when Market was going down.
The only difference between YPs and Gota is Active and Passive control. Gota is active. He did not wait until India or Norway end war on behalf of us. Similarly he is laying the ground work by appointing Professionals and people with proven track record as Chairpersons and Directors of SOEs. This is the very first time it is happening. I would say Gota is a good strategist and lets continue buying. We who braved to buy during YP era has no reason to hesitate to buy under GOTA.
Those Risk Averse rs should be mindful on many factors shaping out within and without. The Road Map of CBSL as well as Geo-political issues affect to CSE.
