    2016 ජනවාරි මාසය තුළ දී 8.04% කින් කොළඹ කොටස් වෙළෙඳපොළ සියලු කොටස් මිල දර්ශක අගය පහළ බැස තිබේ. වසර ආරම්භයේ දී ඒකක 6894.50 ක් ලෙසින් දැක්වුණු සියලු කොටස් මිල දර්ශක අගය, ජනවාරි මාසයේ අවසාන ගනුදෙනු දිනය වූ ජනවාරි 29 වන දින වන විට දැක්වුණේ ඒකක 6,340.08 ක් ලෙසිනි. මෙය ඒකක 554 ක පසුබැසීමකි.

    මේ අතර කොටස් වෙළෙඳපොළ සමාගම් අතුරින් ඉහළ ප්‍රාග්ධනීකරණයක් හා ද්‍රවශීලතාවයක් පිළිබිඹු කරන ප්‍රධාන සමාගම් 20 ඇසුරින් සකස් කෙරෙනා දර්ශකය ද ජනවාරි මාසය තුළ ඒකක 3,625.69 සිට ඒකක 3,302.01 දක්වා 8.93% කින් පහළ ගොස් තිබේ.

    2016 ජනවාරි මාසය තුළ සිදුවූ සමස්ත කොටස් වෙළෙඳපොළ ගනුදෙනුවල වටිනාකම රුපියල් බිලියන 14.27 ක් ලෙසින් වාර්තා වේ. මේ අනුව දෛනික පිරිවැටුමේ සාමාන්‍ය සටහන් වන්නේ රුපියල් මිලියන 748 ක් වශයෙනි.

    මේ අතර 2016 ජනවාරි මාසය තුළ වාර්තා වන විදේශීය ගැනුම් රුපියල් බිලියන 3.98 ක් ලෙස දැක්වෙන අතර විදේශීය විකුණුම් රුපියල් බිලියන 6.72 ක් ලෙසින් සඳහන් වේ. මේ අනුව ජනවාරි මාසය තුළ ශුද්ධ විදේශීය ගලා යාම්වල අගය රුපියල් බිලියන 2.74 ක් ලෙසින් වාර්තා වේ.

    2016 ජනවාරි මාසය අවසානයේ දී කොටස් වෙළෙඳපොළ ප්‍රාග්ධනීකරණය රුපියල් ට්‍රිලියන 2.71 ක් ලෙසින් වාර්තා වන අතර පූර්ව මාසයේ වෙළෙඳපොළ ප්‍රාග්ධනීකරණ වටිනාකම වූ රුපියල් ට්‍රිලියන 2.94 හා සැසඳීමේ දී එය 7.87% ක පහළ යාමකි.

    2015 සමස්ත වසර පුරාවට කොටස් වෙළෙඳපොළේ පහළ යාම 5.5% ක්වූ අතර දෛනික පිරිවැටුමේ සාමාන්‍ය රුපියල් බිලියන 1.06 ක් විය. 2015 වසර තුළ දීද කොටස් වෙළෙඳපොළේ විදෙස් ආයෝජකයින්ගේ නික්ම යාමක් සටහන් වන අතර එහිදී ශුද්ධ විදේශීය ගලායාම් හි අගය රුපියල් බිලියන 4.43 ක් ලෙසින් වාර්තා වී තිබේ.
