මෙරට ප්රධාන පෙළේ රාජ්‍ය බැංකුවක අධ්‍යක්ෂ පදවියක් සහ ඊට අනුබද්ධ මූල්‍ය ආයතන කිහිපයක තනතුරු ගණනාවක් දරන්නෙක් තමන් අධ්‍යක්ෂ ධූරයක් දරන පෞද්ගලික සමාගම් සමූහයකට එම බැංකුවෙන්ම රුපියල් කෝටි 1000ක පමණ ණය මුදලක් ලබාගැනීමේ අරුම පුදුම පුවතක් වාර්තා වෙයි.
මෙම ණය මුදල එකී රාජ්‍ය බැංකුව පිහිටුවා ගතවූ වසර 65ක කාලය තුළ ලබාදුන් විශාලම ණය මුදල බවද කියැවේ. වාර ගණනාවකදී අදාළ පෞද්ගලික සමාගම් සමූහයට මෙම ණය නිකුත්කර ඇත්තේ බැංකු අධ්‍යක්ෂ මණ්ඩලයේ සහ ණය කමිටුවේද පූර්ණ අනුමැතිය ඇතිවය.
මේ ගැන සිදුකළ දීර්ඝ විමර්ශනයකින් පසුව එම රාජ්‍ය බැංකුවේ සභාපතිවරයා අමතා මේ තරම් විශාල ණය මුදලක් අදාළ බැංකු අධ්‍යක්ෂකවරයා ද අධ්‍යක්ෂ ධූරයක් දරන සමාගම් සමූහයකට නිකුත් කළේදැයි විමසුවේය. එවිට බැංකු සභාපතිවරයා එම තොරතුර සත්‍යයක් බව සනාථ කරනු ලැබීය. එහෙත් එකී ණය ලබාදීම සිදුකළේ විධිමත් ආකාරයට යැයි ද ඔහු කීය.
මෙලෙස එම රාජ්‍ය බැංකුවේ අධ්‍යක්ෂවරයකුට සම්බන්ධ සමාගම් සමූහයකට රුපියල් කෝටි 1000ක් ණය දීමෙන් ලැදියාවන් අතර නීතිමය ගැටුමක් හට නොගන්නේදැයි අපි බැංකු සභාපතිගෙන් ප්‍රශ්න කළෙමු. එසේම එකී වාණිජ බැංකුව ඉතිහාසයේ ලබාදුන් දැවැන්තම ණය මුදල මෙය නොවේදැයි කියා වැඩිදුරටත් විමසීමු. එහෙත් එම ප්‍රශ්න දෙකටම තමන්ට පිළිතුරු දිය නොහැකි බව කී සභාපතිවරයා වහා දුරකතනය විසන්ධි කළේය.
ඉන් පසුව ඇමතුම් ගණනාවක් ගත්තද ඔහු පිළිතුරු දීමට ඉදිරිපත් නොවීය
