    Nations Trust Bank has been growing aggressively since 2011 and its competing aggressively in leasing market.

    If Leasing is taken away from commercial banks as suggested by Budget proposal , this bank should have experienced much negative impact. As there is no assurance of removing leasing from commercial banks from June 2016, there won't be any impact for next years performance.

    Vehicle leasing has contributed much to performance of credit during past years where even the performance of a leading  NBFI , PLC.N is equal to commercial banks like NTB.

    Despite growing EPS, dividends per share has reached a plateau and remain in 2.10 range for five years..

    Core capital 5% and supplementary capital of 10% should be the minimum amount , and NTB is well above the minimum requirements..

    Growing dividends are shields to get protected from adverse situations in market.

    Bank, Finance and Insurance category is evaluated for that purpose and UAL and NDB so far identified as dividend growers...

    Like PABC , NTB has also reduced its gold exposure since 2011 and moved into leasing.
