Yk, thanks for the update. Good work. Do you mind updating revenue growth graph from 2006 in terms of %? Say year 2006 value as base figure. Then it will show real growth and help to identify most growing firm. I hope u have all data. Would u mind reporting here for revenue growth and PAT,

It seems worthy to study revenue growth percentage on YoY basis and compare with in and with out industries...and will do that too..

Hi, Thanks YK. Is that possible you to include all the banks in one chart as you did for total revenue. If we do so, I sense PABC will be out performing followed by Sampath as per my past studies. PABS has come to low due to rights so thinking grab few as it is low PE.

It was expected for some time now. I don't thing SAMP can come below 270/- before XR date. Look the price behavior of COMB and HNB after the rights issue announcement. SAMP is more valuable than those two according to current valuations. So I think from next week onwards we should see green again.

My question is, why did they set such a lower value, if the bank is doing extremely well, far better than the others in the island, according to some pandits here.
Insiders know better than what the outsiders assumed to be correct?

If the share crashed beyond 260/- then we can assume that the pricing is wrong. Or else if it turned upside again then ......

Yes, rights issue is pending @ 245/= , a very attractive price.

Today, it reached 281.00 & settled @ 280.20.

Order book has 57638 bids & 36799 asks. The message is clear- few sellers than buyers.

I too eagerly waiting for the rights issue & hold mine securely until it passes 300/=.

As I said how is Sampath Bank now. Is the pricing incorrect. Came back to the pre-announcement price of 280/- I think the rights @ 245/- will be subscribed like hot cake now.

Looks like my guess is correct. With the new capital Sampath Bank will be in a very strong position to deliver super profits in the FY 2018.

Sampath Bank stays strong even with ASPI loosing more than 1% for the last two weeks.

Not only Sampath most shares have barely dipped 1%. Though it all looks firm, Mr.Market can always surprise all.

As I said Sampath Bank recovered strongly in a very short time period and today touched 290/-. With the rights issues pending to conclude @ 245/- a share now investors should have the full confidence that the issue price is correct and deliver maximum value to the existing shareholders.

I expect SAMP will stay strong @ 290/- till the ex-rights date.

Still staying strong above 290/- level. Went up to 300/- as well with dates for rights are yet to receive. The rights will be really on the money when the dates are announced.
