Some sales people who got the news earlier and many others speculated of duty hike, have imported LEAF vehicles in numbers over the last few months, aiming good gains. Now that will not work, instead, already imported and newly importing vehicls will create some oversupply scenario further reducing price to the shit. Entrance of the new improved version further affect the older version market. So if any one is planing to buy one it may be prudent to wait few weeks and see the pattern.
