Plantation shares are highly volatile as the Revenue is depending on the global commodity prices, which is beyond the control of the company.
Rubber is the leading product when compared to the utilization of lands.

The companies belonging to Dr. Sena Yaddehige, spends on R&D and obtain fruitful results.
Innovations of the year
1. A battery powered rubber tapping knife designed and tested successfully.
2. Modified rain guard which is attached to the rubber tree through an imported waterproof compound made using waste cut ends of mattresses manufactured in our sister company. (REXP).

Agreed Serene... A TEC analysis for each share in the same thread would definitely make this place marvelous. FG used to add some updates with quarter reports, and we miss that too..

KGAL is the biggest rubber producer. Natural Rubber price is positively correlated with Crude Oil price. Following chart and PAT of KGAL justify this relationship.

Crude Oil price recorded highest value in 2011 and KGAL recorded highest PAT in 2011.
