    Construction industry was performing well during last financial year..CIND has recorded the forever best performance during last year.

    As per the annual report of the company following are the salient features of last year.

    1.  Construction industry grew by 20.2%
    2.  Commercial banks lending to housing and construction activity increased by more than 20% due to low lending rate.
    3.  Capital Expenditure of National Water Supply and Drainage Board has increased capital expenditure by 25%
    4.  Low inflation and lending rate increased small and medium scale construction activity
    5. CIND has increased production capacity to meet the development and last annual report they used the term OVER-CAPACITY
    6.Marketing campaigns were carried out effectively with branding of vehicles, dealer promotions, segmenting products
    7.  Dealership of Hitachi power tools

    Company maintain a good dividend paying policy..The EPS and DPS are moving in a steady pace..

    I have observed that Sons pay good dividends than Mothers..That is mother companies pay poor dividends in comparison to earnings than subsidiaries .

    CIND being a associate of  of Central Finance pay good dividends and a better half of its cash-outflow becomes cash-inflow to the mother company.

    Thus dividend hunters should select subsidiaries and associates than mother company shares..

    Annual year of 2013/14 explained that company is facing over-capacity situation and plan to export some of its productions..

    But no effects of such export activities are mentioned in 2014/15 annual report.

    FUTURE PROSPECTS

    Several leading construction contractors are facing cash flow difficulties as the monies  due to them on past government projects have been delayed considerably. Hence it appears that at preset while the commencement of new projects are delayed contractors too are proceeding cautiously or are constrained in undertaking new projects. This has resulted in a sharp downturn in supplier of PVC products for large scale projects..( P 6 of annual report)

    Thus this company share will also depend on general election predictions almost like AEL

    CIND quarter ending 30th June 2015 was a satisfactory one compared to earlier quarter for same period.

    Profit for the period has gone up by 158%.

    EPS has  gone up substantially

    Hi Hybrid,

    I don't mean to sound rude but what makes you think that CIND would and should be disposed at around 120? From what i understand, there don't have enough output to match up with the demand.

    If a company like REGNIS (similarly illiquid) can soar to great heights with some much competition, i do not see what CIND will be missing once it increases its profits and EPS?

    I heard from my Grandma that squirrel taught how to climb trees to cat... But never taught how to get down..so cat will climb up a tree and just jump down.. Very Happy

    Earlier I had different target values... Now being a Never to sell I don't have any target to sell.. Chuti is right in that regard...

    My average is 60.87 for CIND.. and I have no Idea of selling in near future...

    Rs.60.87?you must have bought 2years ago. There are no of shares you can make over 100% with in short time. Why do you want to hold this for forever? I think you love this company rather than making money.

    I am very passive in making money... I too wonder with the same question when you look at certain investors like JB Cocoshell or many other long-term holders...They just hold and be happy with the dividend... Thats what I too do...

    Deffa! why give up a good thing when the rest are inflated and don't give out such high dividends? It is like jumping into a river with both feet.

    I guess it depends your patience for investment returns. A little now? or a lot later?

    Waste of time and Grounded Kestrel I think we should start up a separate thread for INVESTOR'S STRATEGY and discuss these in detail .. there are many strategies and what match to a trader is not what match to a long runner...and leave this thread purely on CIND

    Dear friends different people have different strategies,one should follow what suits to him,we have discussed those in earlier as well.
    Regarding CIND one of the good fundamentaly sound share trading below it's NAVPS with a decent DY.ST people may exit around 110 as it has a resistance there.But it can easily bring in to highs as it illiquid.
