Re: Trading or Investing while country facing bankruptcy
Is this a mistake?
a) Why Buy only LOFC even for trading? There are so many other shares!
b) More importantly LOFC is trading at Rs 6.1 now. It went down to Rs 4.5 too.
So why buy LOFC at Rs 10-12 ?

Re: Trading or Investing while country facing bankruptcy
2) I have been fighting to make Sri Lanka/CSE better for decades far before the aragalaya. Doing it now too.
3) But I will let you, Kithsiri and forum Owner decide on whether this should be made political forum or not.
When I saw this, I could go quiet.
Now am pointing out an issue for your safety and others who are buying safety.
You are asking people to enter LOFC at Rs 10-12 as it safe.
Now it is Rs 6.1 to Rs 6.4 still.
Someone can ask why buy at Rs 10 then and not at Rs 6 now.
Then one can say your intent is to promote LOFC to Rs 10+ and sell.
Be careful when you make these posts for your own safety.
Also LOFC now has multi billion more shares in market than before
( with CLC and SFL amalgamation)
I did my duty.

Politics will, unfortunately, have an impact on everyone, whether some people like it or not.
It won't help if you act like an ostrich.
You either defend what you believe is correct or you refute what you believe is incorrect.
Because all the seagulls, සඩ්ඩම්බිරාළලා and most experts have left the forum, someone has to keep the ball running.
What's keeping us from not following suit?

This is not the first post I am posting, I have done many TA even in other forums and members know who is ruwan326 and his analysis

Before I left I said to keeth, that EXPO will pass RICH and reach 3 digits ... about LOFC lets wait and see.
Still Rajapassa supporters and their supporters(සඩ්ඩම්බිරාළලා) shaken to see me here again. Going to ask assistance from SLS

All 18+ adults here in the forum and CSE , we share our experience and insight.

Re: Trading or Investing while country facing bankruptcy
1) LOFC was manipulate to Rs 40. Then some said it will go to Rs 100. I warned many time on FB page on CT games and LOFC/CLC promos . When I warned ofcourse there was resistance. ( not ruwan)
2) LOFC fell to Rs 4.5 recently too. That's nearly 90% loss from top !!
So now LOFC is at a very discounted and fundamentally too cheaper price as most shares.
3) When market goes up again, obviously LOFC can go past Rs 10. It was Rs 30 few months ago. So why not past 10. Nobody is going to contest that . Nor am I.
But like wise so MANY OTHER SHARES too can rise from current prices or be traded.
4) What am pointing out is below.
a) LOFC today is Rs 5.7.
b) If it surely goes to Rs 10-12 , then no point to buy at Rs 10-12
c) it cheaper to buy 90-100% cheaper , hold and sell then over Rs 10
( or can buy LOFC even cheaper than Rs 5.7 now if market stays in red again.)
Hope someone understands the logic am saying here.

Good to see you active again here, though very few members left. Thanks to Gota's era all the new CDC account holders are doomed......
"LOFC was manipulate to Rs 40. Then some said it will go to Rs 100" I will sell LOFC when it reach 100

Remember EXPO reached 400/= (yes with the help of manipulation in the latter part of the run)
I think there will be few announcements left for LOFC and brighter future for LOLC group. You can not apply simple logic to all shares at all time.

Re: Trading or Investing while country facing bankruptcy
If the ratio is 1:25, it is going to effect Lofc and I am sure they will try the same method to reduce Lofc shares outstanding in previous amalgamation.
CLC they manage 2:1, so as I predicted LOFC will be pushed up so they don't need to issue more LOFC shares for NIFL. Lets see how things go on till amalgamation

Currency is depreciating.
Ranil W talked about local debt restructuring and wealth tax. I thin it is riskier to invest in financial assets

Same like Gotas bubble this is ranils bubble time. I am not in a investing mode until this country take over by wise/intelligent people, not educated/fools.nirmal wrote:Best thing is invest in a dollar earning share.

As SLS mention there will be another gilmart just like CLC, so we can trade and have early Christmas

The way things going on LOLC going to absorb more finance companies under their belt and expand outside the country, if you like you can keep for 5-10 years investment too if the country come out from this mess.... but
