First of all let me congratulate you on your achievement. Unlike any other achievement of an individual in this case its not the achiever benefits but the audience, or spectators.
I first read your articles and was a fan of previous forum. When leading posters disappeared from there, I searched the net and found this place. By that time I was posting here and there.
I soon found your efforts to create Ethical Trading. ..You often wanted people to grow ethically.
At times you was the only warrior against Tide.
There may be occasions you have identified me also as a Trend Setting Promoter. I can remember when I said 50% of my PF is LIOC , you warned me. But I knew one thing, you evaluate all the shares listed as well as all the writers who write in CSE related topics.
You can read the avatars of different births ( you can identify a person irrespective of the Nicknames changed from time to time).
I cannot imagine the time you dedicate for studying Shares and Writers.
In my case I read annual reports and keep data and just put them in slices here. When someone ask about a share I can refer if I have already written about that.
In your case you can quickly answer about any share and thats something impossible for others.
That is why many viewers appear the moment you start to write.
You are a gentleman who genuinely care about new comers. That attitude was often attacked. The reason is very clear. New comers often fall into traps laid by seasoned hunters. ( Hi,,, Hunter its not who you are mentioned here)
Most of the times you was the lonely fighter against manipulators. Such fights might have hurt you.

There are few writers in this forum whom writing I never miss.You at the top of the list,because of your vast knowledge on CSE related matters as well as general human behavior.
At a point you suspected me too as a promoter due to miscommunication and even had some heated arguments.The things you said on ganging up for personal gains and unfaithful behavior,all are spot on.When time goes on, I learnt everything you said from your experience is damn true.

As you know, I usually take hours to write a single article . So the extra

God only knows how much time I spent to write over 13000 posts!
To date , I have not got a single benefit or a penny out of these forum
writing and helping business . ( except heartache at times)
Still no one know me except by my Slstock ID.
Met and communicated ( online) maybe with 100s if not 1000s over the years.
Some just say thanks after getting some help and disappear.
What am essentially saying is, the only real gift I got out of all this is
just meeting the few of you ( online) who recognized
and stayed loyal over the years.

suffering since March. When index dropped to 4200 there
was so much fear and heartache for many.
Hardly anybody was around to give direction, or comfort to public.
Saw the usual manipulation teams at certain forums trying to crash
the market while others cunningly trying to promote and
dump their shares.
So I wrote more.

I started trading in the stock market about 25 years ago. During this period I earned millions of rupees and experienced a lot of mistakes resulting in huge losses as well. Reading the posts you made over the years in this thread helped me to lower the losses and increase my profits by being patients in business. Therefore, you have a greater share of dignity for my recent success. Let me convey my sincere gratitude again for the knowledge I grabbed from your priceless writings.

This "Veteran" title is a total misnomer.
Never wanted it and was given to two of us by former Admin ( owner).
3) When I first came to market I had zero help.
My Father had died. Had No one to ask.
Asked a relation who was a director of company
and who had been in stock market for a long time for advice.
He escaped answering my questions or giving advice.
I had to learn 100% by myself with my own mistakes.
These new comers are so lucky get FREE advice from a
few selected decent people in this forum.
* Brokers are not really helpful to get detailed advice either.
Most of their suggestion do not work.
* Many people write in forums for no other reasons but
to pump or dump their shares.
4) In reality, I preach better than I practice.
If I listened to my own advice I would have saved Millions!
That why I show my mistakes and try to direct people to right path.
Though I got zero return/reward for 1000 and 1000s of hours spent,
atleast it is good karma I supposed.
We don't live for ever and we don't take money with us when we die!

when i enter stock market in early 2016 got broker advise to catch AEL @24. after that full of disappointments because market continuously fall. then i gave up and forget stock market for 3 years. again i enter late 2018 and find sources/ discussions about CSE. i found SLEF initially and then i found this. i read most of the threads a-z. most of SLS (also YK, PATH, SERENE, HERESHA, BACKSTAGE Etc..) post's are there and they are very informative. those information and thinking patterns are really helpful juniors like us.

This is my first post nearly after 5 years. Just came here to say thanks to SLS for his immense contribution to the CSE community in Sri Lanka with his 10K + posts.
Sir, you are a legend, I have not seen a person with an in depth knowledge about stocks in any forum like you, simply amazing talent.
Best part is that you distribute your knowledge to the society free of charge with out expecting any return.
As I see, you want the society to be a better place than this and your intention has been very clear over 10,000 posts you have made.
Over the past 10 years I have read your valuable posts and you have saved many from falling in to traps in CSE including me.
Once I remember you have spent several hours on your birth day to protect the forum from an attack. (not sure this forum or old one)
I think most of you have watched "Robin of Sherwood" TV series
To me SLS is like "Hern the Protector" in that show, a god like person who appears every time when Robin is in deep trouble, and give him wise advice disappears without a trail.
Qualities you have shown as a human being are far grater than the knowledge you have on CSE.
So I'm really glad to meet an individual like in you (online) in my life.
