That is the story we were told to by the previous Govt and now only they are telling the "real story" to their followers (balaya thiyenakota mole ne  OR  kiyanne ne...) Followers just say what they were told to as they believe koti nagitinawa + rata suddata/kotinta liyala denawa

Look what's going on in some part of Africa with Chinese so-called Chines investments and then you will understand.
Africa too has plenty of underutilised land.

I may be a conservative person but in my view, we don't necessarily have to give our soil and resources to other countries to get developed. and mark me it also wont bring any such develop

I do not expect the emplyees to get rich, but the business community as a whole. I was referring to KDDP type investors. At present we have a handful, India and China has the fastest growing number of new millionairs. We need some more. Do we have a local investor who can buy out Sri Lankan air lines or Hambanthota port. I will give a detailed answer for your question later.
