    Serendib Land PLC is a highly illiquid share. All remaining number of shares other than held by top twenty is just 10,359

    This company shows important features of real estate business and illiquid companies

    As shown in above graph the revenue  (rental income)  is stable but the profit increases once in every three years . In terms of LKAS 40 of the Sri Lanka Accounting Standards, the fair value of investment property of a company should be revalued  annually be the board of directors and once in three years by a professional valuer. Thus this property was valued by M/s P.B. Kalugalagedara (F.I.V) an incorporated valuer and assessor.

    Rental income is rather stable and so is the dividends paid by the company.

    2019/2020

    Serendib Land PLC is located at 9/5 Thambiah Avenue and it provide leased floor area in its seven storied building.

    Company intends to transfer into Diri Savi Board as it is not in compliance with Minimum Public Holding. Further company is evaluating a mechanism to improve its stated capital from Rs 36,000,000 to Rs 100,000,000.
