Once Idi Amin the dictator of Uganda said he wanted to name the Country after him. So the country should be addressed as Idi.. A minister pointed out that the citizens of Cyprus are known as Cypriots so the inhabits of Idi would be Idiots..

So Uganda remained as Uganda , but there are many stories from Land of Iditos..

I will add stories from Land of Idiots when ever interesting stories are created in that land.

Though many see negatives at political levels, I see some positives on President Sirisena
specially on conduct/decency level.

But the statement President Sirisena gave with regards to Facebook , it so naive
and sad. Specially to do that in foreign country. They must be thinking we are primitives.

Speaking on Idi Amin...

a) he is one of the very rare "bad" people who lived a long life without repercussions.

b) if I remember right he was in Kandy serving in the militray during the 1940s or 1950s.
