10 ways how doctors in Sri Lanka cheat patients
1) 40-60% kickbacks for lab tests.
When a doctor (whether family doctor / general physician, consultant or surgeon) prescribes tests – pathology, radiology, X-rays, MRIs etc.
The laboratory conducting those tests gives commissions.(40%.--60%). He probably earns a lot more in this way than the consulting fees that you pay.
2) 30-40% for referring to consultants, specialists surgeons.
When your friendly GP refers you to a specialist or surgeon, he gets 30-40%.
3) 30-40% of total hospital charges.
If the GP or consultant recommends hospitalization, he will receive kickback from the private nursing home as a percentage of all charges including ICU, bed, nursing care, surgery.
4) Sink tests.
Some tests prescribed by doctors are not needed. They are there to inflate bills and commissions. The pathology lab understands what is unnecessary. These are called “sink tests”; blood,urine, stool samples collected will be thrown.
5) Admitting the patient to “keep him under observation”.
People go to cardiologists feeling unwell and anxious. Most of them aren’t really having a heart attack, and cardiologists and family doctors are well aware of this. They admit such safe patients, put them on a saline drip with mild sedation, and send them home after 3-4 days after charging them a fat amount for ICU, bed charges, visiting doctors fee
6) ICU minus intensive care.
Nursing homes all over the suburbs are run by doctor couples or as one-man-shows. In such places, nurses and ward boys are 10th cl-ass drop-outs in ill-fitting uniforms and bare feet. These “nurses” sit at the reception counter, give injections and saline drips, perform ECGs, apply dressings and change bandages,and assist in the operation theatre. At night, they even sit outside the Intensive Care Units; there is no resident doctor. In case of a crisis, the doctor — who usually lives in the same building — will turn up after 20 minutes, after this nurse calls him. Such ICUs admit safe patients to fill up beds. Genuine patients who require emergency care are sent elsewhere to hospitals having a Resident Medical Officer (RMO) round-the-clock.
7) Unnecessary cesarean surgeries and hysterectomies.
Many surgical procedures are done to keep the cash register ringing. Cesarean deliveries and hysterectomy (removal of uterus) are high on the list. While the woman with labor -pains is screaming and panicking, the obstetrician who gently suggests that cesarean is best seems like an angel sent by God! Menopausal women experience bodily changes that make them nervous and gullible. They can be frightened by words like ” and “fibroid” that are in almost every normal woman’s radiology reports. When a gynecologist gently suggests womb removal “as a precaution”, most women and their husbands agree without a second’s thought.
Cosmetic surgery advertised through newspapers.
Liposuction and plastic surgery are not minor procedures. Some are life-threateningly major. But advertisements make them appear as easy as facials and waxing. The medical council has strict rules against such misrepresentation. But nobody is interested in taking action
9) Indirect kickbacks from doctors to prestigious hospitals.
To be on the panel of a prestigious hospital, there is give-and-take involved. The hospital expects the doctor to refer many patients for hospital admission. If he fails to send a certain number of patients, he is quietly dumped. And so he likes to admit patients even when there is no need.
10) Emergency
Surgery” on dead body.
If a surgeon hurriedly wheels your patient from the Intensive Care Unit to the operation theater, refuses to let you go inside and see him, and wants your signature on the consent form for “an emergency operation to save his life”, it is likely that your patient is already dead. The “emergency operation” is for inflating the bill; if you agree for it, the surgeon will come out 15 minutes later and report that your patient died on the operation table. And then, when you take delivery of the dead body, you will pay OT charges, anesthesiologist's charges, blah-blah-Doctors are humans too. You can’t trust them blindly. Please understand the difference. Young surgeons and old ones.
The young ones who are setting up nursing home etc. haveheavy loans to settle. To pay back the loan, they have to perform as many operations as possible. Also, to build a reputation, they have to perform a large number of operations and develop their skills. So, at first, every case seems fit for cutting. But with age, experience and prosperity, many surgeons lose their taste for cutting, and stop recommending operation Physicians and surgeons.
To a man with a hammer, every problem looks like a nail.
Surgeons like to solve medical problems by cutting, just as physicians first seek solutions with drugs. So, if you take your medical problem to a surgeon first, the chances are that you will unnecessarily end up on the operation table.
Instead, please go to an ordinary GP first.

Saudi will be a different country after another 5 years,, thanks to US allies,, probably they will break the country apart and the whole muslim world will change all stone age laws.

Controversy Still Surrounds Ravi K’s BIL’s SriLankan Airlines London Job
The controversy surrounding Finance Minister Ravi Karunanayake‘s lined up SriLankan Airlines Sales Manager (UK) job for his brother in law Gihan Malalasekara has taken another twist according to another applicant who contacted Colombo Telegraph.
The applicant who requested to remain anonymous said that he had initially received an email from Anne Seneviratne the Talent Resourcing Manager of the island’s national carrier on the 23rd of October 2015, informing him to avail himself for an interview on the 30th October 2015.
The email also went on to say that he would be informed on the 26th of October 2015 of the time and venue for his interview.
Much to his surprise he never received the promised intimation by the Talent Resourcing Manager of the airline on the 26th October 2015.
However what he did receive on the 27th October 2015 was an email instead stating that due to “unanticipated developments” the interviews had been stalled.

පසුගිය දා රූපවාහිනී නාලිකා කිහිපයකම පළ වූ වරාය ඇමැති අර්ජුන රණතුංග ගේ නොමනා ක්රියා කලාපය සහ වරාට තුල සිදුකරන වංචා දූෂණ ඔහු වාසය කරන මෝදර පිහිටි නිල නිවසට මිලියන 3.9 ක් වියදම් කර අලුතින් ඉදිකිරීමක් සිදුකරන බවට ජනතා විමුක්ති පෙරමුණේ පාර්ලිමේන්තු මන්ත්රී සුනිල් හඳුන්නෙත්ති කළ ප්රකාශය දුටු විට අර්ජුන රණතුංග ගැන මා දන්නා දේත් ජනතාවට දැන ගැනීමට සැලැස්වීම යුතුකම් ලෙස හැඟුණි. ඒ ඔහුට මඩ ගැසීමක් ලෙස නොව මහජන ඡන්දයෙන් පත් වූ මහජන නියෝජිතයන් ගැන මහජනතාව දැන ගත යුතු නිසාය. මා මෙහි කියනා දේ සියයට සියයක්ම සත්ය බවද ඉඳුරා පවසමි.
අර්ජුන රණතුංග ඔහුගේ අතීසාර මිත්රයෙකු වන පොල්හේන්ගොඩ උද්යානයේ අංක 21/8 කොළඹ 05 පදිංචි දියගහ විතානගේ විමලසිරි සහ තවත් කිහිප දෙනෙකු සමග කොළඹ පිහිටි චීන අවන් හල් වලට නිතර පැමිණේ. එහිදී විමලසිරි නමැත්තා කැපී පෙනෙන ප්රධාන චරිතයක් ගනී. විමලසිරි හා අර්ජුන වසර කිහිපයක සිට ගජ මිතුරෝ වෙති. මෙකී විමලසිරි හිටපු ඇමැති මර්වින් සිල්වාගේ සම්බන්ධීකරණ ලේකම් වරයෙකු ලෙසද සේවය කළ අතර මොහුට කිසිදු අධ්යාපන සුදුසුකමක් නොමැත. සහජයෙන්ම පවතින වාචාලකම සහ කපටිකම මොහුට ආශිර්වාදයක් වී ඇත. මෙම විමලසිරි මර්වින් සිල්වාට හොර ගැහැණුන් සැපයීමත් කප්පම් මුදල් එකතු කිරීමත් සිදුකෙළේය. මර්වින් සිල්වාගේ විකෘති ලිංගික ඇසුරවල් ගැනද මෙකී විමලසිරි මත් පැනින් මත් වූ අවස්ථාවල පවසයි.
විමලසිරි දැන් අර්ජුනවත් ගොනාට අන්දවාගෙන වරාය සුද්ධ කිරීම ආරම්භ කර තිබේ. රටට වෙස් මුහුණක් දමාගෙන සිටින අර්ජුන රණතුංග ද මුදලට ඉතා ගිජු, මාන්නාධික, ඔළුව ඉදිමුණු චරිතයකි. නමුත් විමලේ කියන ඕනෑම දෙයක් කිරීමට අර්ජුන සැදී පැහැදී සිටී. වරායේ වැඩ බාර ගන්නා විට අර්ජුන පැවසුවේ වරායේ දූෂණ හා හොරකම් හෝදන්න මුහුදේ වතුර මදි කියාය. නමුත් දැන් අර්ජුන සහ විමලේ කරන දූෂණ හොරකම් හෝදන්නට සත් සමුදුරේම වතුර මදිවෙමින් තිබේ. කොහොමටත් රණතුංග පවුලම මුදල් පසුපස හඹා යන පවුලකි. රෙජී රණතුංග සතොස නියෝජ්ය ඇමැති ධූරය හොබවන කාලයේ එම අමාත්යාංශයේ නිතර ගැවසුනු ධම්මික රණතුංග, නිශාන්ත රණතුංග, සංජීව රණතුංග වටේ අල ලූණු සුදුලූණු මුදලාලිලා කැරකීම සුලබ දසුනකි. ඒ ටෙන්ඩර් පාස් කර ගැනීමට ය.
දැන් වරායේ සභාපති කමට පත් කර ඇති ධම්මික රණතුංග එකළ සිටම එවැනි හාදයෙකි. ඔහු අපොස උසස් පෙළවත් සමත් නැතිව අවුරුදු ගණනාවක් ඇමරිකාවේ වාහන අලෙවි මධ්යස්ථානයක සේවය කළ අයෙකු බව දනිමි. පවුල් පාලනයට තදින් විරුද්ධ වූ අර්ජුන රණතුංග දැන් රණතුංග පවුල පෝෂණය කිරීම ආරම්භ කර ඇත.
නිශාන්ත රණතුංග ක්රිකට් පාලක මණ්ඩලයට රිංගවා ගැනීමට පිඹුරුපත් සකස් කරමින් සිටී. අර්ජුන නිතරම පවසන්නේ “මා සමග හොරකම් නම් කරන්න හදන්න එපා මට හොරකම පේන්න බෑ හොරකම් කරල අහුවුනොත් මගෙන් කිසිම සමාවක් නෑ“ ආදී පොර ටෝක්ස් ය. මේවා අර්ජුන පවසන්නේ මුඛයෙන්ද? අධෝ මුඛයෙන්ද? කියා සිතේ. මන්ද යත් අර්ජුන විමලේ ලවා දැන් වරායේ සිදුකර ගෙන යන මහා පරිමාණ හොරකම් ගැන දන්නා නිසාය.
අර්ජුන වරායේ පළමු හොරකම ලෙස කරන්නේ කොම්පඤ්ඤවීදිය කිව් පාරේ පිහිටි වරායේ පුහුණු මධ්යස්ථානය පවත්වාගෙන යන ස්ථානයේ ගබඩා කර තිබූ මහින්ද රාජපක්ෂ කාලයේ චීන පරිත්යාගයක් ලෙස ලැබී තිබූ දැවැන්ත වේදිකාව සහ එහි උපාංග හිටපු පා.ම. රුවන් රණතුංගට අයත් ලොරි රථ වල අංක තහඩු වෙනස් කර එම භූමියෙන් ඉවත් කරගෙන යෑමයි. දැන් ඒවා රුවන් රණතුංගගේ කඩවත පිහිටි බියර් ගබඩා සංකීර්ණයේ සඟවා තබා ඇත. එම වේදිකාව මහින්ද රාජපක්ෂගේ පුද්ගලික බූදලයක් නොව වරාය සතුව තිබූ දේපොලකි. මෙම වේදිකාවේ වටිනාකම රුපියල් කෝටි 22 කි. දැන් එම වරාය වේදිකා භාණ්ඩ බාරව සිටි වරායේ සේවක වැලිගම නමැත්තා අමාරුවේ වැටී තිබේ.
ඉහත කී රුවන් රණතුංග ගැනද හැඳින්වීමක් කළ යුතුය. රුවන් රණතුංගගේ මුදල් පොලියට දෙනු ලබන්නේ පෙර කී විමලසිරි හරහා ය. විමලසිරිද ඉන් ගානක් කපා ගනී. මේ හේතුව නිසා මෙම භාණ්ඩ සොකරම් කිරීමට ඔහුව ගාවා ගත්තේය.
තවද අර්ජුනයේ ඥාති සොහොයුරන් රාශියක් වරායේ විවිධ තනතුරු වලට රිංගවා තිබේ. ඔවුහු නම් මංගල ගුණසේකර, අජිත් ගුණසේකර, නාථ ගුණසේකර, අශෝක ගුණසේකර වෙති. අජිත් ගුණසේකරගේ අයියා අශෝක ගුණසේකරය. ඔහු මඳක් හොඳය. අර්ජුනගේ වැඩ පිලිවෙල ගැන කලකිරුණු අශෝක ගුණසේකර වරායෙන් ඉල්ලා අස්විය. අජිත් ගුණසේකර මත්පැනට ගිජු සල්ලාලයෙකි. වරායේ පරණ යකඩ, කේබල්, පරණ ටයර් එලියට දීමේ කොන්ත්රාත්තුව නාථ ගුණසේකර සමග එකවු කරගෙන යන්නේ අජිත් ය. මංගල ගුණසේකර අර්ජුනගේ සම්බන්ධීකරණ ලේකම් ය. මොහු වරායට එන්නට පෙර සිටම මුදල් අයථා ලෙස ගණුදෙනු කිරීම් වලට සහ නොයෙකුත් ප්රශ්න ඇතිකර ගත් පුද්ගලයෙකි. මංගල සහ පෙර කී විමලසිරි රාත්රී සමාජ ශාලා අතහරින්නේ නැත.
වරායේ තතු දන්නෝ පවසන්නේ දැන් වරායට තේ කොළ, හාල් ආදිය සපයන්නේ ද විමලසිරිගේ හිතවතුන් බවයි. වරායේ සැපයුම් කරුවන් මෙකී විමලසිරිගේ හිතවතුන්ගෙන් භාණ්ඩ රැගෙන සපයයි. තේ කොළ සපයන්නේ ඩෙල්ටා ස්ටේට් සමාගමේ චමින්ද ය. හාල් සපයන්නේ පොලොන්නරුවේ මලයාගේ හාල් මෝලකිනි. විමලසිරිගේ දියණියගේ නමින් ඇති ටිනුෂි ෆුඩ් සෙන්ටර් ආයතනයෙන් චීන සමාගමට දිවා රාත්රී ආහාර සපයයි. විමලසිරිගේ තවත් හිතවතෙකු වන අචලා අලස්ගේ ස්වාමියා මේජර් අලස්ට හම්බන්තොට වරායට අවශ්ය පුද්ගලික ආරක්ෂකයන් සැපයීම බාර දී ඇත. හිටපු අය ඉවත් කර තිබේ. නාරාහේන්පිට කොතලාවල පිරවුම් හලේ අයිතිකරුටද ආරක්ෂකයන් සැපයීමේ කොටසක් බාර දී තිබේ. (මෙය නම් පුවත් පත් වලද පළවිය) මේ සියළු දෙයින් අර්ජුන රණතුංගගේ කොටස වෙනම ඔහුට යනු ලැබේ.
අර්ජුන රණතුංග ක්රිකට් පාලක මණ්ඩලයේ සභාපති ධූරය දැරූ මාස 11 ක කාලයේදී ක්රිකට් පාලක මණ්ඩලයේ නිලධාරීන්ට දෙනු ලැබූ දිවා ආහාර වේල සපයන ස්ථානයද වෙනස් කොට විමලසිරිගේ හිතවතෙකුගේ කොළඹ 05, පාර්ක් පාරේ, කෝල්ට්ස් ක්රීඩාංගනය අසල පිහිටි ඉතා අපිරිසිදු ස්ථානයකින් කෑම පැකට් දෙන කොන්ත්රාත්තුව ලබා දුන්නේය. එම කෑම පැකට් තුල සිගරැට් කොට ලණු කැබලි තිබී හසුවිය.

ගරු ජනාධිපති තුමාගෙන් සහ අගමැති තුමාගෙන් මා ඉල්ලා සිටින්නේ වෙස් මුහුණක් දමාගෙන අර්ජුන රණතුංග සිදුකරගෙන යන මේ මහා පරිමාණ සොරකම් ගැන සොයා බලා තවදුරටත් මෙවැනි දේ සිදුවීමට ඉඩ නොතබන ලෙසයි. ජනතාව බලාපොරොත්තු වූයේ යහපාලනයකි. ජනතාවගේ බලාපොරොත්තු නැති නොකර යහපාලනයට ඡන්දය දුන් ජනතාවට සාධාරණයක් ඉටු කරන මෙන් ජනාධිපතිතුමාගෙන් සහ අගමැතිතුමාගෙන් ඉල්ලා සිටිමි. ( මෙය චරිතයකට මඩ ගැසීමක් නොව මා දන්නා සත්ය ලංකා ඊ නිව්ස් හරහා රටේ සුබ සිද්ධිය වෙනුවෙන් ජනතාවට එලිදරව් කිරීමක් පමණි.)

අර්ජුන රණතුංග ඔහුගේ අතීසාර මිත්රයෙකු වන පොල්හේන්ගොඩ උද්යානයේ අංක 21/8 කොළඹ 05 පදිංචි දියගහ විතානගේ විමලසිරි සහ තවත් කිහිප දෙනෙකු සමග කොළඹ පිහිටි චීන අවන් හල් වලට නිතර පැමිණේ. එහිදී විමලසිරි නමැත්තා කැපී පෙනෙන ප්රධාන චරිතයක් ගනී. විමලසිරි හා අර්ජුන වසර කිහිපයක සිට ගජ මිතුරෝ වෙති. මෙකී විමලසිරි හිටපු ඇමැති මර්වින් සිල්වාගේ සම්බන්ධීකරණ ලේකම් වරයෙකු ලෙසද සේවය කළ අතර මොහුට කිසිදු අධ්යාපන සුදුසුකමක් නොමැත. සහජයෙන්ම පවතින වාචාලකම සහ කපටිකම මොහුට ආශිර්වාදයක් වී ඇත. මෙම විමලසිරි මර්වින් සිල්වාට හොර ගැහැණුන් සැපයීමත් කප්පම් මුදල් එකතු කිරීමත් සිදුකෙළේය. මර්වින් සිල්වාගේ විකෘති ලිංගික ඇසුරවල් ගැනද මෙකී විමලසිරි මත් පැනින් මත් වූ අවස්ථාවල පවසයි.
විමලසිරි දැන් අර්ජුනවත් ගොනාට අන්දවාගෙන වරාය සුද්ධ කිරීම ආරම්භ කර තිබේ. රටට වෙස් මුහුණක් දමාගෙන සිටින අර්ජුන රණතුංග ද මුදලට ඉතා ගිජු, මාන්නාධික, ඔළුව ඉදිමුණු චරිතයකි. නමුත් විමලේ කියන ඕනෑම දෙයක් කිරීමට අර්ජුන සැදී පැහැදී සිටී. වරායේ වැඩ බාර ගන්නා විට අර්ජුන පැවසුවේ වරායේ දූෂණ හා හොරකම් හෝදන්න මුහුදේ වතුර මදි කියාය. නමුත් දැන් අර්ජුන සහ විමලේ කරන දූෂණ හොරකම් හෝදන්නට සත් සමුදුරේම වතුර මදිවෙමින් තිබේ. කොහොමටත් රණතුංග පවුලම මුදල් පසුපස හඹා යන පවුලකි. රෙජී රණතුංග සතොස නියෝජ්ය ඇමැති ධූරය හොබවන කාලයේ එම අමාත්යාංශයේ නිතර ගැවසුනු ධම්මික රණතුංග, නිශාන්ත රණතුංග, සංජීව රණතුංග වටේ අල ලූණු සුදුලූණු මුදලාලිලා කැරකීම සුලබ දසුනකි. ඒ ටෙන්ඩර් පාස් කර ගැනීමට ය.
දැන් වරායේ සභාපති කමට පත් කර ඇති ධම්මික රණතුංග එකළ සිටම එවැනි හාදයෙකි. ඔහු අපොස උසස් පෙළවත් සමත් නැතිව අවුරුදු ගණනාවක් ඇමරිකාවේ වාහන අලෙවි මධ්යස්ථානයක සේවය කළ අයෙකු බව දනිමි. පවුල් පාලනයට තදින් විරුද්ධ වූ අර්ජුන රණතුංග දැන් රණතුංග පවුල පෝෂණය කිරීම ආරම්භ කර ඇත.
නිශාන්ත රණතුංග ක්රිකට් පාලක මණ්ඩලයට රිංගවා ගැනීමට පිඹුරුපත් සකස් කරමින් සිටී. අර්ජුන නිතරම පවසන්නේ “මා සමග හොරකම් නම් කරන්න හදන්න එපා මට හොරකම පේන්න බෑ හොරකම් කරල අහුවුනොත් මගෙන් කිසිම සමාවක් නෑ“ ආදී පොර ටෝක්ස් ය. මේවා අර්ජුන පවසන්නේ මුඛයෙන්ද? අධෝ මුඛයෙන්ද? කියා සිතේ. මන්ද යත් අර්ජුන විමලේ ලවා දැන් වරායේ සිදුකර ගෙන යන මහා පරිමාණ හොරකම් ගැන දන්නා නිසාය.
අර්ජුන වරායේ පළමු හොරකම ලෙස කරන්නේ කොම්පඤ්ඤවීදිය කිව් පාරේ පිහිටි වරායේ පුහුණු මධ්යස්ථානය පවත්වාගෙන යන ස්ථානයේ ගබඩා කර තිබූ මහින්ද රාජපක්ෂ කාලයේ චීන පරිත්යාගයක් ලෙස ලැබී තිබූ දැවැන්ත වේදිකාව සහ එහි උපාංග හිටපු පා.ම. රුවන් රණතුංගට අයත් ලොරි රථ වල අංක තහඩු වෙනස් කර එම භූමියෙන් ඉවත් කරගෙන යෑමයි. දැන් ඒවා රුවන් රණතුංගගේ කඩවත පිහිටි බියර් ගබඩා සංකීර්ණයේ සඟවා තබා ඇත. එම වේදිකාව මහින්ද රාජපක්ෂගේ පුද්ගලික බූදලයක් නොව වරාය සතුව තිබූ දේපොලකි. මෙම වේදිකාවේ වටිනාකම රුපියල් කෝටි 22 කි. දැන් එම වරාය වේදිකා භාණ්ඩ බාරව සිටි වරායේ සේවක වැලිගම නමැත්තා අමාරුවේ වැටී තිබේ.
ඉහත කී රුවන් රණතුංග ගැනද හැඳින්වීමක් කළ යුතුය. රුවන් රණතුංගගේ මුදල් පොලියට දෙනු ලබන්නේ පෙර කී විමලසිරි හරහා ය. විමලසිරිද ඉන් ගානක් කපා ගනී. මේ හේතුව නිසා මෙම භාණ්ඩ සොකරම් කිරීමට ඔහුව ගාවා ගත්තේය.
තවද අර්ජුනයේ ඥාති සොහොයුරන් රාශියක් වරායේ විවිධ තනතුරු වලට රිංගවා තිබේ. ඔවුහු නම් මංගල ගුණසේකර, අජිත් ගුණසේකර, නාථ ගුණසේකර, අශෝක ගුණසේකර වෙති. අජිත් ගුණසේකරගේ අයියා අශෝක ගුණසේකරය. ඔහු මඳක් හොඳය. අර්ජුනගේ වැඩ පිලිවෙල ගැන කලකිරුණු අශෝක ගුණසේකර වරායෙන් ඉල්ලා අස්විය. අජිත් ගුණසේකර මත්පැනට ගිජු සල්ලාලයෙකි. වරායේ පරණ යකඩ, කේබල්, පරණ ටයර් එලියට දීමේ කොන්ත්රාත්තුව නාථ ගුණසේකර සමග එකවු කරගෙන යන්නේ අජිත් ය. මංගල ගුණසේකර අර්ජුනගේ සම්බන්ධීකරණ ලේකම් ය. මොහු වරායට එන්නට පෙර සිටම මුදල් අයථා ලෙස ගණුදෙනු කිරීම් වලට සහ නොයෙකුත් ප්රශ්න ඇතිකර ගත් පුද්ගලයෙකි. මංගල සහ පෙර කී විමලසිරි රාත්රී සමාජ ශාලා අතහරින්නේ නැත.
වරායේ තතු දන්නෝ පවසන්නේ දැන් වරායට තේ කොළ, හාල් ආදිය සපයන්නේ ද විමලසිරිගේ හිතවතුන් බවයි. වරායේ සැපයුම් කරුවන් මෙකී විමලසිරිගේ හිතවතුන්ගෙන් භාණ්ඩ රැගෙන සපයයි. තේ කොළ සපයන්නේ ඩෙල්ටා ස්ටේට් සමාගමේ චමින්ද ය. හාල් සපයන්නේ පොලොන්නරුවේ මලයාගේ හාල් මෝලකිනි. විමලසිරිගේ දියණියගේ නමින් ඇති ටිනුෂි ෆුඩ් සෙන්ටර් ආයතනයෙන් චීන සමාගමට දිවා රාත්රී ආහාර සපයයි. විමලසිරිගේ තවත් හිතවතෙකු වන අචලා අලස්ගේ ස්වාමියා මේජර් අලස්ට හම්බන්තොට වරායට අවශ්ය පුද්ගලික ආරක්ෂකයන් සැපයීම බාර දී ඇත. හිටපු අය ඉවත් කර තිබේ. නාරාහේන්පිට කොතලාවල පිරවුම් හලේ අයිතිකරුටද ආරක්ෂකයන් සැපයීමේ කොටසක් බාර දී තිබේ. (මෙය නම් පුවත් පත් වලද පළවිය) මේ සියළු දෙයින් අර්ජුන රණතුංගගේ කොටස වෙනම ඔහුට යනු ලැබේ.

Sri Lanka investigates attempt to fix international cricket match
Sri Lankan authorities are investigating an attempt to fix an international cricket match involving the national team and the West Indies.
Sports Minister Dayasiri Jayasekera said a suspected bookmaker had approached two Sri Lankan players ahead of the match to try to convince them to under-perform and lose the match.
Both players turned down the approach and the authorities were informed, Mr Jayasekara said.
Sri Lanka went on to win the game.
Wicketkeeper Kusal Perera and bowler Rangana Herath were approached shortly before the match in Galle, Sri Lanka, in October, the minister said.
"After Kusal turned down the offer, the man approached Herath who also rejected the offer and alerted the authorities," he added.
Both a police inquiry and anti-corruption investigation by Sri Lanka Cricket have been launched.
The International Cricket Council has also been informed.

Sirisena has decided to discontinue the National Broadband Initiative (NBI), which ensured high speed broadband internet access to citizens at affordable prices, Mirror Business learns.
It is also learnt that the man who spearheaded the NBI for three years, Sanath Siriwardena, has been shown the door from the TRC, effective from December 31, 2015, for reasons best known to the new Director General.

Suhada Gamlath - Army Intelligence - CID meeting: Rathnapriya cries foul
Deputy Solicitor General Suhada Gamlath had called for a meeting yesterday with the Army Intelligence representatives and the Criminal Investigation Department representatives in connection with the Pradeep Ekneligoda murder case, said the Citizen's Organisations' Collective - 'Purawasi Sanvidana Ekamuthuwa' convener Saman Rathnapriya.
He questioned the moral of a senior officer of the Attorney General's Department to call a meeting between the prosecution side and the side of the accused. He also questioned if the same meeting was a mode of mediation.
He made these observations at yesterday's press conference organized by the Citizen's Organisations' Collective in Colombo.
Rathnapriya further said that the Defence Secretary has ordered the removal of the Counsel of the Attorney General's Department who appears in the Pradeep Ekneligoda Case from the same Case. He added that Deleepa Peiris of the Attorney General's Department is also rendering a commendable job in the case.
"We want to know if this decision was the Defence Secretary's own decision or if it was based on political advise" Rathnapriya said. "If it is his own decision, he is attempting to put the government in trouble. He also recently signed an agreement with the Avant Garde Company".
Ratnapriya said that the President and the Prime Minister should decide under these circumstances if the the person who is in the position of the Defence Secretary is fit for the position.
He added that if this decision to remove the Attorney General's counsel from the Ekneligoda case was not withdrawn, they would take action against the same because the judiciary should be independent.
Anura Bandara Rajaguru, Chandraguptha Thenuwara, Joseph Starlin, Darmasiri Bandaranaike and Chameera Perera also spoke at the occasion.
