දැනට සිටින ආරක්ෂක මාණ්ඩලික ප‍්‍රධානියා සහ යුද හමුදාපතිවරයා ඉවත් කළ යුතු බව ප‍්‍රජාතන්ත‍්‍රවාදී පක්ෂයේ නායක හිටපු හමුදාපති ජෙනරාල් සරත් ෆොන්සේකා ප‍්‍රකාශ කළා. කොළඹ අද පැවති මාධ්‍ය හමුවකදී ඔහු කියා සිටියේ දැනට ජාතික ආරක්ෂාව සම්බන්ධයෙන් සිදුකර ඇති ඇතැම් පත්කිරීම් සම්බන්ධයෙන් තමන් පෞද්ගලිකව සෑහීමකට පත් නොවන බවයි.
තම පාර්ලිමේන්තු මන්ත‍්‍රී ධුරය සම්බන්ධයෙන්ද හිටපු හමුදාපතිවරයා මෙලෙස අදහස් පළ කළා. ‘‘මට මන්ත‍්‍රී ධුරය ලබාදෙනවා කියලා ජයන්ත කැටගොඩ මන්ත‍්‍රීවරයා කිව්වා. නමුත් තාම ඒක ලබාදුන්නේ නැහැ. ඒක ලබාගන්න එයා ගාව වැඳ වැටෙන්නත් මම සූදානම් නැහැ.’’

He may not be the most diplomatic and supple politician but I believe we would have been in better position today, as far as anti corruption is concerned, if his legitimate and decisive victory was not stolen then.

The Government on Sunday (22) awarded the Field Marshal title to former Army Commander General Sarath Fonseka for the yeoman service rendered by him, achieving the victory over terrorism. The official awarding of this honorary title to General Sarath Fonseka by President Maithripala Sirisena was taken place at the Ministry of Defence.

I think he deserves that ( now let not talk about ethics of the war) but as a soldier he did his highest for his country.
But he should stay out of making comments like removing the 3 commanders ( unless it is public opinion like yours or mine) That upto to the government.
