Breaking News- Sirasa Tv Broadcast on Dialog TV and PEO TV is being paused at the moment. This fact is verified and confirmed by so many viewers all over the island. Hon. Maithreepala Sirisena is expected to go on air at 7.30 in a Special "satana" Programme

These idiots gave an unnecessary publicity by doing this. Most of the satellite TV subscribers are accessible for internet, so very futile effort and counterproductive. This further confirms the madness of the regime.

I wanted to find the official reason why this program was blocked by Dialog/Peo TV . My concern is media freedom and transparency here.
I have no connection to the below web page but listen to the apparent reason given by Dialog representative when questioned by "some party" , and tell me it sounds logical? But I do feel for the poor rep who was just trying to do his job.

I don't think anybody will buy this. Pity a CSE listed blue chip company now has to fall to this level.

Well these actions gave them free publicity and pretty sure made lot of people who were not interested find a way to watch it later. Sirasa had a repeat telecast today and it was not blocked.
Tomorrow will be an interesting day with the final budget vote taken. I remember in 2005 UPFA Govt was almost defeated but last minute efforts by Basil stopped Thondaman and his people from crossing over. Same could happen tomorrow. Imagine if the budget is defeated? Parliament will need to be dissolved and will create chaos. I dont think MR is a fool to just sit back and wait, he would have already given goodies so that crossovers can be stopped. Rumours are going around but lets see by EOD tomorrow what the latest situation is.
