“Do more business with SME’s and also help build capacity and transfer knowledge,”
“Strive for a win – win relationship rather than negotiate for the last rupee.”
He was addressing the two day forum on small and medium enterprise empowerment 2014, held today (13, Oct) at Colombo.
The forum has organized by the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce who will bring together all stakeholders in the SME sector including policy makers, banks, service providers, technocrats and development agencies.
Shah said the SME sector, which is the backbone of the rural economy must be transformed into an integral part of the supply chain within the country.
