    One of my friend is looking for a small business to acquire, or to join as a partner. Investment amount between 20-30 Mn.. preferably in F & B trade

    Lately, I had been a frequent visitor to Matara and I found that hardly any mid range eateries are lacking in that town nor fast food chains.
    Clean, decent and easy access place would be a welcomed change, with the extension of E1 from today.
    Just a thought only.  Very Happy

    There are some old type 'Hotale' s with some flies and smell , now we need a quality place like you hv suggested.
    .... good investment I think.

Same here.To add something I have also seen that when one of such open there are several of such kind open in quick succession and all disappears without a notice including the first one.So Its empirical that carrying out a study about the attitude of the ppl in the area and any offices or the factories available near by. BTW good avenue and worth considering as all suggested.

    There is a huge market for mid ranged eating houses and BnB places, Say a 250 ruppee lunch, a 1000rupee BnB.

    but the 1st one to open will succeed, if you are looking for 5-10% return you will be in the market for a very long time
