Yes if you buy on or prior to X date (which has not been announced yet and they cannot give a date with restrospective effect) you will be elligible for sub-division.

The reason was given last time on share split "to improve the liquidity of the share in the stock market". I think the same this time also. Plus I don't think they'll go for a right issue in near future.

If you all see the equity portfolio of UML, you won't regret of any investment in UML. It is simply excellent.

This includes blue chip companies and 2.0mnshares in NDB and HNB,COMB,SAMP,DFCC,NTB,DIST,TJL,SPEN all are in the portfolio. These boys have hired a very good investment advisor to the company. will see .....

Me too got the same feeling and would be delighted to find the person who is behind this. Ans also this is a good lesson for the companies who depend only on their core business. Well done UML.

Last time after the initial announcement, EGM was held after 6 weeks.

I'm expecting this time by 3rd week of August 2014.

Now it is around 130.00-135.00. If bulls continues this may hit 150.00. Isn't it. I bought Q 126.00 and hope to hold long term.

This quarter UML is badly hit. EPS mere 2.50. Will see how they fight next Q.

I guess this poor result will badly effect to reduce share price after sub division.....
I expect it would come back to 120/- range even after sub division....
Since EPS dropped from 6/- to just 2+.
High chance for it stay around 80 - 100 range for more time...
