Listened to bits here and there....
Tax on Bond interest and Listed Debt up from 10 to 14 %. Exemptions on Debentures to cease. Together with CGT on property, bodes well for market.
Rs. 10 more for Kg of Chicken a small boost.
CTC asked to contribute to Prez fund. How that for FDI promo.
Banks - withdrawal tax .Also pressure to get out of leasing(not clear if final)
Also a vague ominous mention of top 100 corporates to join Gvmt venture where gvmnt will absorb interest.???
100 cess's to be removed (no indication which)
Minimum room rates to be abolished.

WHT increased from 10% to 14%? Does this mean we'll get lesser dividends? Ohhh God.
