Payout ratio from Earnings stand a higher value and even at current prices the dividend yield remains attractive.

This warehouse is the first Green Warehouse of Sri Lanka and double the storage capacity of the company.
Since the warehouse is energized only by solar power it will reduce the energy bill substantially and improve the profit.
At present ASIY is one of the four leading tea brokers of the country which share 14% of the 320 Million Kilogram export...

Last sale was done by the directors on 1st September 2015 and this interval seems to signal that selling is over.. What ever it is they may not sell 6% more to reach a value below 51% of the ownership....

sls and I had a good discussion with diverse opinion going on.
Just to make a correction, "Directors" did not sell. It was the parent which was selling.
Now my assumption was because they were in margin as they had to buy extra during a mandatory offer (if my memory is correct) and they had to clear.
This was a good one to have had when prices were much lower and good dividends declared. Now profits are lower so don't expect same dividends to continue. A lot of income came from the lending business. Now they have increased warehouse capacity through new warehouse. But till they utilize it fully, it won't perform at optimum level.
I don't hold ASIY anymore and have not studied this deeply. Comment above just from my memory.
