Are there any DSLR enthusiasts out there among our member's?
The BloodMoon Lunar Eclipse can be seen between 7:30 - 8:40PM on Sunday (27th Sept).
Capturing this never to be seen in our life time scene can be memorable.
We need to get the experts on Photography out to educate us on the Tips, Tricks and Traps of getting the picture right the first time. There's no second chance, unless you take 100 shots with an hour.
Some tips that were shared by an expert:
- be aware that more light is required
- its quite safe to look directly through the Binoculars, telescope, camera or spotting scope.
- Always ensure that you can own this scene as Millions will have the same shot and you cannot prove you took it. (Have a land mark as a backdrop)
- scout the site before hand to ensure which direction the moon will appear.
- Ensure there is nothing obstructing the view
- be careful in avoiding falling off balconies, trees, buildings and being run over or electrocuted in getting the best shot. (Remember that those who take selfies have died in the hundreds)
