Sometimes its worthwhile asking whether small companies should get listed in CSE. Ramboda Falls is such a small hotel of Three Star category.. There are many such three star hotels scattered around the island.

Many five star hotels indicate 3 stars as a threat to their revenue.. Reaching upper end tourism is the target of 5 stars where now three stars grab many European low end market..

However many tourist destinations grab all types of tourists. In this back drop its worth evaluating another three star hotel

2014 revenue drop is due to refurbishment and this variation of earnings is problem for single hotels in operation as mentioned in HUNA.N

When comparing with Hunnas falls, RFLs revenue and profit has not declined after refurbishment.. For Hunnas falls upgrading the hotel was not an attraction as they have to position differently .

When comparing the dividends paid twice at the value of 50 cents , a pattern of paying 50 cents once EPS is above Rs 1.00 can be identified..

The ownership and top twenty list consist no familiar names ..

There was an expectation that the owners will sell the shares immediately after one year of getting listed..

We often neglect small companies specially small hotels when evaluating.. But there are RICHES IN THE NICHES..

When SL attract low income tourists still there are hotels that get the benefit..

RFL may not accurately predictable using tech due to push up/down nature..
Even buying 1000 shares is extremely hard and needs a lot of patience.

It suits for ST ppl like me, but if I get in, to sell I will have to patiently wait.. can sell with 3-4 rupees if you have less qty.

Last raun from 23 (july) to 30s (Mid Aug) only traded ard 70k shares... So imagine buying 10000 shares n ur struggle to sell them.

But if you manage to buy ard 5000 shares, u can sell at various levels within 2 months I guess.

Ramboda seems  reaching maturity in Earnings, reporting almost same EPS for the quarter
