Government is consern about this paticular incident because of JATHIWADEE BAYYOS are trying to change this incident to JATHIWADAYA & they are telling KOTI HISA OSAWANAWA.

All must need to understand victim was TAMIL GIRL. who done the rape and killig are TAMIL peoples. Peoples are protesting againsed those TAMIL peoples who done the rape and killg by majority of TAMIL peoples. Its clear there no any other relegion issues involved in it. See how Rajapaksha & Bayyos bankrupt. Shame

I don't discourage any effort of public. I sense that this issue is motivated by tamil politico leader whose close relative is a rapist/ suspect. They try to get the control by attacking Jaffna Court to let suspect escape.

I still didn't understand why all schools and every govt. institution need to stop working one day and protesting for the incident. Just one hour protesting at their gate is more than enough to show the support. She is dead, must be respected and should be remembered. But by doing protesting can they stop this incidents. Only court punishment is the important one, not people protest.

I believe this is the first time it had happened in Sri Lanka recent period, so people may be terrified. May be the protest could be justified if Jaffna police in-charge officers were biased, so protest can attract attention of Colombo head. It seems Colombo heads immediately sent those officers at transfer.

It is really hard to get the actual ground information. Only politicians words are all over. I know Thuvarakesan, Vijayakala and Ellilan's wife qualifications. They are the leaders.... Sad

come on Guys...I regret now posting this heading.... Its not the language people speak.Its about humanity. Thats way I said in my phrase " All the rape victims".

As this case has made lot of attention, lets use it to save all the daughters for future.

Everyday day 18 girls are getting raped in Sri Lanka. for an year nearly 6570. Our system is weak to rectify the issue.So we need to bring some awareness.

I also got similar picture from North. A main suspect is backed by a powerful ethnic politico .
What we get form mass media in South is considerably distorted.

I do not think that public hanging would solve the issue at all.
These are stone age practices practiced even in the digital age will no successful results.
I believe females have a far better roll to play in eradicating this menace from society.
Mothers (even fathers) should stop treating boys differently than girls.
I have seen some parents are so proud to say "Boys are boys".
Such anti social attitude inculcation in the early life make some behave like boys in their adult life too.

Yes කිත්සිරි ද සිල්වා. Its true. It can see in South India most of the time. There is a effect to north of Sri Lanka because that part is closer to South India. People in north most of the time they like to follow indians. Fashion,food,lifestyle ect..
Because of that they getting bad things from India as well as good thing. Education is the best thing to solve this issue.

Dear friend .I just put 2 sentences without going to much deep as this is not a political forum.
I'm against for any sexual harassment and phedophils.
Try to see the bigger picture.This undue attention was given to this particular incident simply because she was a Tamil.There was a man who is a chairmen of one of the pradeshiya saba had given a party after rape of 400 women.But no protests,no candles.But why here,

All are trying to fish in troubled water.

Bayya's hero the king looter is pouring hatred among ethnic groups to get votes.
On the other hand Yahapalana fellows trying hard to keep their tamil vote base.
In between 'BADAGOSTHARA WADI' JADA MADYA want to make news of it.

this is an extract of a study made in India

This is often only possible and plausible in cases of severe psychosis or in individuals with serious organic brain disorders or severe learning disability. Tribals always think the best weapon to humiliate one is raping his daughter, wife or mother..we are still living in tribal era..

the best way to eradicate this tribal culture is bring new law to shoot or hang this type of people in public..
