That was one of the best satirical teledramas I have ever watched.
I think the Karate Master also dead by now, if I am not mistaken.

Badly missing those days which all the family members are eagerly waiting till 8.30PM to watch one and only Tele Drama telecast at that time.

All are either poor adaptations or dubbed ones from neighboring country with the same theme.
Coping is easy than creating.
I see another side to this crazy.
People can be kept FOOLs forever by dishing out such bland dramas.
Fools can be easily fooled than sensible and thinking people.
Therefore, hidden agendas can be brought into fore surreptitiously without raising much raucous.
