එසේම පසුගිය වසරේ මෙම පර්යේෂණ අංශය මගින් අයදුම් හරහා මිලියන 6167 ක තර්ජන හදුනාගෙන ඒවායේ ක්‍රියාකාරිත්වය මැඩ පවත්වන ලද බවද පවසයි.

මෙහි නවතම සමීක්ෂණයන්ට අනුව සෑම පරිගණක පරිශීලක 03 දෙනෙකුගෙන් එක් අයෙකු තම අන්තර්ජාලය මත සිදු කරන ගෙවිම් වල ආරක්ෂාව වෙනුවෙන් කිසිදු ක්‍රියාමාර්ගයක් නොගන්නා බවත් එසේම,44% ක් පමණ තම මුර පදය අන් අය සමග හුවමාරු කර ගැනිම ට සුදානමින් සිටිම,74% ක් පමණ පරිශීලකයින්ට අනිසි ගොනු ඉවත් කර ගැනිමට නොහැකි විම නිසා අනිසි ආක්‍රමණ වලින් 81% ක පමණ අයහපත් ප්‍රතිඵල ගෙනදිමට තුඩු දි ඇති අතර ඉන් 33% ක් මුදල් වැයවිමට හේතු වි තිබිම සයිබර් ආක්‍රමණ හේතුවෙන් සෑම අන්තර්ජාල පරිශීලක 06 දෙනෙකුගෙන් එක් අයෙකුට මුදල් අහිමිවිම හා අන්තර්ජාල පරිශීලකයින් 25% ක ගේ පමණ අන්තර්ජාල පරිශීලක ගිණුම් වලට අයථා පිවිසිම් සිදු විම් වැනි කරුණු අනාවරණය වි ඇත.

Kaspersky is a good anti virus solution but in my experience each new edition only slows down the computer, really hard for PCs without at least 4GB of RAM. Even with the latter if the PC processors anything below a Dual Core 2.0+ it would still piss off the user.

I still working on it,OS XP,mysql,aparche still running with good speed level.

I dont use virus guard there,U know something,i used vista also.No one is writing to viruses to outdated OS like Vista.

Vista is slow when it's start up,but there after manageable.

but in Server configuration this practices get vanished..

Oh Come on Nihal Ayya,Im not ax expert but im working on that areas,btw ET Kasper is better for me than other,but without having virus guard im still OK...

Use the SHIFT key
Suppress autorun by pressing the SHIFT key when inserting a USB drive. Then, right click on the icon in Explorer and select Explore to access the contents of the drive. This is a one-time action and you have to keep that in mind every time you insert an USB drive. And you have to be ever mindful of never double-clicking your USB drive icon in Explorer.

To manually and permanently enable or disable automatically running CD-ROMs, you must edit the registry, this works in XP, Vista, 7 and 8:

1. Click Start -> Run (or press Winkey+R), type regedit in the Run box, and then press Enter.

2. Locate and click the following registry key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\CDRom

3. To disable automatically running CD-ROMs, change the Autorun value to 0 (zero). To enable automatically running CD-ROMs, change the Autorun value back to 1



4. Restart your computer.

3rd Method Working With - Group Policy - for XP

Disable Autoplay of Audio CDs and USB Drives
I find it very annoying when I go home from work and plug my laptop into my external hard drive… The autoplay window always pops up and asks me what I want to do with the files, which may be fine the first time, but definitely isn’t after a year of that.

To get to the configuration screen for this setting, go to Start Menu \ Run and type in:

gpedit.msc

You will see the Group Policy window. You should select Administrative Templates \ System in the tree view:



You will see an item in the right side pane called “Turn off Autoplay”



Double click the item, and set the radio button to Enabled, and change the “Turn off Autoplay on” to
All or Ur Selected Drives.

Disable Autorun with Group Policy:

Please take note that Group Policy is not available on some versions of Windows. To access this feature, you must login with Administrative account.

1. Click on Start > Run. Alternatively, you can use [Windows Key]+[R] on your keyboard.

2. Type Gpedit.msc in the box. Click OK or press Enter on keyboard.

3. It will prompt for Administrator password. Please continue by providing the password and click on Continue.

4. Local Group Policy Editor will open.

5. Go to Computer Configuration, click on Administrative Templates, click on Windows Components and then click on Autoplay Policies.

6. Click Enabled.

7. Select specific drive on Turn off Autoplay to disable Autorun on that drive.



8. Another method is to set Default behavior for Autorun. Click Enabled and select Do not execute any autorun command. This will generally disable Autorun command on all drives.

9. Restart the computer.
