It says  when the macd above zero mean buy signal[when the macd cross over(above)  the signal line ] , below zero mean sell signal. but  I compared with our market when the  macd above zero mean there will be a down trend . the problem is how to find the bottom  .  trend. What you say is correct to some extent.. Currently market is looking for small gain than bigger ones so when MACD crosses the signal line, the sentiments may change and the underlying logic for crossover BUY signal may also get invalidated.

However, just with MACD, u cannot decide on a BUY. There are other useful indicators TAs use like SAR, RSI, ADX, etc.. A combination of all this is what gives a more clear picture.

look at the following chart;

MACD is turning, ADX is turning, SAR already under the price mark, then there's an englufing pattern.. All this sets for a run.. So unless some bad things happens in macro environment this is gonna run.

Thank you for the link shared and I didnt have any knowledge of the technical and got very small idea. But I am very interesting to learn about this and could you please explain from where we can generate these charts ( Specially MACD )Can we do with our trading software.

Note: I am using CAL trading software.

Yes you can easily generate it using a Trading software.

Not sure where it is in yours. But general step is
a) first open the ASI chart ( in your software)
b) next there should be option to add
an "Indicator" or "Average". Under that there should be MACD

There are also online site to check this. But try above first.

Thank you for quick response on this regards. Actually i started in CSE Mid of July in 2015 and tried to get study about these charts. I log to another fourm and open two three post regarding how to get these things and how to study.
But No one response and last month joined to this forum and after few minutes you replied and thank you very much.

As you have explained i tried to generate but failed and I called to the system supporter in my broker firm and they replied there seems to be an technical error and will fix on tomorrow.

Ho hopefully i will be able to generate from tomorrow and further if any member using CAL software would like to here his/ her voice ( Regarding chart generate). Since i have only a very limited knowledge about the technical charts.

I saw some question are raised about the 'basics' of MACD. Thought of putting this down which might be useful for some 'starters' catch the correct idea sooner than we did.

MACD is an 'indicator' any basic chart software would provide. If your software does not have MACD, you can comfortably decide it is not meant for any technical analysis.

But, as I consider, the most important part is to have a 'proper' view towards MACD or any other 'indicator'.

At early stages, most of the novices would think the 'indicator' is showing where the market is moving.

Truth couldn't be further from that.

You should develop the idea that all 'indicators' are just showing from where the market has moved so far.

That's it!

To give an example. A good stethoscope would not make a good doctor but only what is in between earpieces would.

I think you can't find MACD in CAL's software where they use a separate trading software.
They show very basic charts I believe.

Sorry I think I have missed this. It would be helpful if someone can send me the list of such threads.
