Re: Insight for Manufacturing Industry
ok. we are back in business. return after currency market volatility. when stock fail, i go for currency and when currency fail im here again.
good thing about stock is you do not have to worry about temporary volatility as you invested in businesses. but if you look away for a moment currency market may wipe out your whole wealth. when i need some trading, i go for currency. recent EUR/USD drama made me few bucks. so back to stocks.
lets talk about tiles now.
LWL/RCL/CERA/TILE
As we discussed above manufacturing process of porcelain/ ceramic is somewhat similar to glass. if we go in to details,
1. preparation of raw materials
2. pressing and drying
3. firing with or without glaze
4. adding refinement
5. packaging and delivery
preparation, pressing, drying and firing all of these use electricity heavily. as discussed earlier electricity/ energy cost is accountable for 20-30% of production cost. with taking fuel price reduction, transportation cost also will come down significantly.
moreover, tile industry is proportional to construction industry as i always said. since we can expect a healthy industrial and service sector growth, specially in north/east and rural areas, aluminium, tile, cement etc, construction based consumption industry may benefit from it.
slstock has done a wonderful work on tile and we can see more on
