Missing principal returns, but cannot recall the previous four days

Principal of Hewavitharana Maha Vidyalaya, Narendranagasinghe Chitrapala has told police that he did not know what really happened to him and he had been sleeping under a tree close to Prarakrama Samudraya in Polonnaruwa until he came to know where he was from a man there on Saturday, the Police Media Unit said.
The principal disappeared on November 19, on the day President Mahinda Rajapaksa declared opened Mahindodaya science laboratory at his school.
He has told the police that he is a diabetic patient and does not know what has happened to his motorcycle.
On Sunday morning the principal had returned home in a trishaw from Kottawa, after he had travelled from Polonnaruwa to Kottawa town by bus, Police spokesman SSP Ajith Rohana said
He has got himself admitted to the Sri Jayewardenepura Teaching Hospital.
The principal’s brother told The Island yesterday, that Chitrapala had rung him from Polonnaruwa on Saturday night and said he did not know what had happened to him.
