I think this is first time something like this has happened; that's why the confusion is.

Since apparently, Admin is not active these days, let me add few more.

In that, 104...., thread, there were some comments, specially by SLS regarding the risks and sensitivity which might affect certain parties.

Therefore, Admin removed the whole thread from the forum's access, and moved to a restricted area; where nobody had access except the creator of the thread, @HUNTER.

@HUNTER had the authority to add any other member to the thread.

@ HUNTER requested 3 senor members; viz. Kith, Yellow Knife and Backstage to advice on whom should be grated access to the thread, only upon the requested of that member.

At the request of Admin, @HUNTER created this thread, 'How to get...' to inform whoever interested, on how to get the access to the 'hidden', restricted, 104..., thread.

This is what has been going on.
To treat everyone fair and equally, nobody was granted access without his/her consent and request.
Not even SLS or Admin or moderators.

If majority of you think this should be done some other way, please put your suggestions here.

Also, if you suggest any criteria, on how to select the appropriate members to be granted access, please feel free to do so.

It was a kind of Social Experiment but do not want mass participation to avoid having an effect artificially on the selected counter.
If you are keen participating, I am sure Hunter would be glad to have you too onboard.

Thanks Kith. Confusion occurred as Hunter announced the restriction in his first post of this thread. Ideally, Admin should have done this, not Hunter. As you now say, Hunter has included SLS now, I feel Admin has ceded his powers to Hunter. ?What is the correct position?

I think some confusion is still shrouding the issue.
I believe, the access was restricted by the Admin of the forum and admission to the thread is given, based on requests only.
Those who have requested access (including me) have been granted access to without any preconditions.
Initially, all were having the same fate, including SLS and I believe, Hunter has later included him.
Hope this clears the confusion.

Kith, I am not a regular contributor now. However, when I saw your strange comment I thought of commenting on this so-called restrictions of access. May I know who restricted access and also the list of restricted names? If SLS is one of the restricted persons. Its absurd.

This was what I posted earlier and is self-explanatory.

I think once it was made Restricted and if one is not added in there, he or she will not be able to see the contents of the original thread and not that anyone deliberately removed them is my understanding.
Once you are added there only you started seeing it again.
Same with Nihal too, I believe.

To protect you and the forum , and to carry out this experiment
the right way, I take my personal time to make detailed comments no
on else did. You"ll  did not foresee  the issues I mentioned  until I said so right?

Next , what did you"ll  do  ( or agree to let Admin do) ?  

Remove  all content  including all what I wrote in public and make it invisible  
to  me also.  Very dandy !

For old time sake ,  am going to  put some comments  that might  help
to formulate better what you are doing. ( what ever it is )  

1) Question1 :
   What is the real goal of this Experiment?  
   To test Elliot Wave accuracy? Test technical accuracy ?
   If not ... what is it ?


2) Question 2 :
   What do you plan to achieve with this experiment results ?


3) Is  this a Scientific experiment?  Then there should be

a) something to compare with ( ex : control group)
b) should be done fairly to prove the result of this X is better than  Y



4)  Note :  


You have chosen a bullish market period to do this.
If the  Bull market prevails ,    all shares will run with increasing ASI.


No body has to do anything in a Bull market to make a share run to it value
and maybe beyond due to trend.  ( Well I guess some  can  promote using manufactured stats/facts  to make their share run quicker to dump on others. 
But you get my point  )


How will you prove ,  your results/target are achieved due to accuracy of your
methodology  only ,  but not sentiment  change, bull market pushes ,
fundamental valuations etc ? 



In other word, if you did this during bear period, will it work just the same?

If I understand this right,  if you are to do fair assessment of this experiment,
you should   have done the same during

1) Neutral/Bear period
2) Bull period ( now)

Then  you can compare and say the method you use / target you gave are
valid for all times .

Dear SLS,

First to clarify.
That was started for education purposes.
Not for any personal gains of anyone; if you suspect, as I guess.

Then about the points you have raised.
* Bull market: I have chosen a period of 2 years, do you think your 'so called' bull market will last for the whole 2 years? If so, please suggest your period of time to get a complete picture of the trading technique; we'll extend.

* Content of others and yours: I see it is in-tact there in the original thread, you can see it for yourself, if you wish, as you're still added.

* Making Kith, YK and Backs as selectors, why not SLS: Would you accept as a selector if I added you in the first place? If yes, I would jolly well make you the sole selector. But I was under the impression you hadn't enough time as you had mentioned so in another mail.

* Prove what?: I don't intend to prove anything; this is to check if the selected technique will work in real life. AND to check how the emotional aspect would work under different market conditions.

* Methods will work for all times: As said, I am not promoting any method here. If you suggest a method, we can adopt that. No method will work all the time in my view.

** On a personal note SLS, I am disappointed to see that you suspect some hidden agenda here. You look to have developed some imbalance of health or something?
If not I think your 'pride' may be in control of your comments.

How many  times have I defended you in the pat and said you

b) Btw, for factual purposes , yes a Bull market can last 2 years.
    It lasted from 2009-2011 as you know.
 
It can happen again

i) if economy is handled well and companies are growing
ii) if CSE is not pushed too quick / too far to  overvalue it like last time

I did not post big explanations as it might make things boring, and on the way, readers would understand the objectives and the way it would work.

Yes and no.
The bull movement can last for many years, but it will never happen in a straight line.
There will be times of correction and short term bear runs for sure.

My starting this experiment should be kind of coincidence.

I think everyone's intentions were are pure. And I mean everyone including the comments. No jokers or trouble makers. The problem is the way the changes were enabled and most importantly communicated on the open thread. I believe that the modalities were not properly thought through as well.

Because I agree, I mentioned that I will create a new section which will be restricted so it is not exposed to everyone. I created this on 24 November and posted details on how to request access and left it for more than a day for people to see.

I asked HUNTER to open another thread and explain how to get access. This is that thread.

No one was added to this new group except HUNTER who was give ability to approve requests to join this group who can view the experiment thread. I gave guidelines so that not every request is accepted meaning only genuine learners and proven members to be added and not new IDs etc.,

IF NONE OF YOU HAVE REQUESTED ACCESS, YOU CANNOT BE INCLUDED AS IT WAS CLEARLY MENTIONED THAT IT WILL BE ON VOLUNTARY BASIS

I did this on 24. HUNTER opened this on 28. Today is 4 December.
