Above shows how much it was talked about the share.
Despite the interest coming down after a bubble it seems PARQ is performing well.

Re: PARQ.N0000 (Swisstek (Ceylon) PLC)
Company has shifted from Wooden flooring to Tile Grout and Mortar. Yet the biggest revenue by now is Aluminum as shown above.
Aluminum extrusions come in a range of finishes including Mill finished, Anodized and Powder coated.
As Sri Lankan construction market is still bubbling up the demand for Aluminum is also growing . As many houses are now constructed in Box Model without a roof to cover the windows and doors, there is a trend to install Aluminum Windows. Company has been so far successful in capitalizing the market trends.

Aluminium sector profits are down.
Some broker houses are still promoting this share without estimating the future.
World aluminium prices have gone up by 30% during last 12 months. Rupee has depreciated by about 10% during the period giving an overall increase of the main raw material cost of about 40 % or more.
If the companies don't adjust prices to reflect the costs, margins might squeeze further.

Re: PARQ.N0000 (Swisstek (Ceylon) PLC)
2) Now on present situation :
Specifically on PARQ, within the last 2 years personally I made several warning when people tried to pump it to Rs 80 and to Rs 100 in short term.
Gave reason why it should not be such on valuations at that time.
Mentioned also several times PARQ had resistance around Rs 70-72 ( which was clear when relating to fundamentals also which was explained in detail under the link Yk gave).
That resistance was not broken for 3 times in several years spread.
I saw few months ago a top PARQ holder exited at Rs 67.
Then I also saw some negative concerns on Aluminium sector few months ago.
So I too made a post on Alumium shares on Be CarefuL thread bascially telling "When to BUY".

Now PARQ is Rs 74-75.
YK will give fundamental side so will not go there.
3)
Leaving YK to carry out the indepth discussion let me say this.
Aluminium sector still has lot of potential for longer term with construction Boom. PARQ is uqnieu share which has Aluminum + Tile sector benefits.
After looking at the latest report PARQ seems to be doing well.
Their future seems okay as it is managed well.
Tecnically a long consolidation happened at Rs 70 ( traded between Rs 55-70 for long time)
Now it was broken and at Rs 74-75.
Can it go ebelow Rs 70 again yeah if something unxpected happens.
But with the Group ( LWL,RCL,TILE ) rises , PARQ too can naturally rise with time when ASI go up.
So PARQ is now at suitable situation ( backed by fundamental and after long consolidation technocally to gradually increase in price for any Investor who is concerned.
But it is not gurantee if one does not pay attention to any negative stuff.
So don't please presume this is a recomendation to buy or it will go up in short term.
YES , there are some Negatives too on PARQ. YK presume will high light .
Cost of ALumium was on the up but as long as the company manages it , it should not hurt their growth potential .
Know pluses and minuses.
This group is for Investment not for any game play.
ps : Glad YK got some input for this educational post.

Re: PARQ.N0000 (Swisstek (Ceylon) PLC)
There are some points to note. The top 3, 4, 5 & 6 shareholders cleared/ clearing their stakes (Refer December 2016 and March 2017 Financial statements). One is very intelligent player S. R. Fernando (Sashi) fully cleared his stake. So, there may be a valid reason for it.
The others M. M. Fuad and R. A. Rishad are number one traders and you could see them in many companies top 20 lists briefly and they buy and pump up the prices and sell when it goes up.
Therefore, my personal belief is that PARQ is a very good trading share and better buy when it goes down and sell and exit as there are so many traders waiting to clear their stakes.
Newcomers better avoid buying at peak levels.
This is only my personal opinion and not a buy/ sell recommendation.
