Ranil invites Richard Branson

Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe has extended an invitation to iconic and flamboyant global business leader and philanthropist Richard Branson to visit Sri Lanka and explore prospects for investments.
The invitation was extended last week when Wickremesinghe spoke with Branson over the phone.
The initiative had been facilitated by a young entrepreneur who works closely with Branson and an advisor to Premier MTE4MDAzNDEwNDYyNDEwMjU0with strong links to the private sector.
Analysts viewed the telephone call and invitation to Branson as a business-savvy move by Premier Wickremesinghe and the confidence the latter has about the prospects of his party winning the upcoming general election.
An English businessmen and investor Branson is best known as the founder of Virgin Group, which comprises more than 400 companies. According to the Forbes 2014 list of billionaires, Branson is the seventh richest citizen of the United Kingdom, with an estimated net worth of $4.9 billion.

Richard Branson has written good eye opening books.. Business Screwed Bear and Losing My Virginity...
In one of his books there is a nice story of investing in Nigerian air line.. Nigeria is a country where a military guy capture power and soon chased out by another ..
One military leader was so good and he invited Richard Branson to start up an air line .. Richard accepted as the military leader did not ask usual 10% commission.. 90% of the jobs were given to Nigerian people and air line was a very safe one unlike many African owned ones...
But the good military guy was chased out soon and the new comer asked 10%..Richard rejected and from next day onwards patriotic Nigerians wanted to chase out Whit Man owned air line...
Political Stability is a must for economic prosperity..

What happened in Nigeria could happened in here too.
We can't run something profitable but when someone does it right, we just want to rob it by bringing in racial issues / slurs.
We should hand him over the CGR to be transformed.
Those who have taken ride on their trains will vouch.

British Railway was sold to Virgin..Cartoonists drew British PM in the Pockets of Richard Branson.. Even in London that's how the media behave...When a politician is doing something media and average man believe there is a corrupted deal to motivate them.
Traditionally we believe that corruption has taken place during Gamini Dissanayake's Mahaveli Project.. Suppose there was a government change and immediate stop of Mahaveli then..
When Ranasihnge Premadasa was handling Gam Udawa there were corruption even from a sod of grass and that's what we believe..
At least these two gentlemen did something..
Madam CBK was notorious with Thawakkal and Water Edge and many more.. And we cannot be happy with what she did..
Ranil did nothing during his first two years and next 100+++s and of course the LEDA MALATH BADA SUDDAIs can be happy with him..
MRs era had the biggest development and of course we heard that they ran the business so bad ..But we are happy with the outcome...Flyovers, express ways, jogging tracks, towers, buildings etc etc.. So like the Saudi King family was accused MR family was also accused for looting money.. Saudis said when the country is fast forwarded for 30 years we can tolerate the percentages gone hidden..

Will he be given a Free hand by the law makers, media and unions is the million dollar question.
