The passengers are trapped inside planes for several hours. No way to come out. Boarding tunnels not working.

I think due to an international protocol you can't sent armed forces to do the jobs in civilian port. ??

This is a national crime organized by Nidahas sevaka Sangamaya.

They are demanding the jobs for their offspring ! As per news , a main demand is - give jobs to the sons and daughters of the current workers without taking "outsiders" !

I don't like certain things the government does, I don't like certain things opposition does.
Like wise the trade unions.

But fair is fair. This is a dirty way to get their demands. To shut down an air port, in front of foreign eyes to show what low class we are. This is not the way to build a country.

If you want you demands go do a hunger strike, go on pelapali, put facts foward in t o such way that people can't deny but don't do harm to public service and things that effect country outlook.

however pretty sure SL airports are not closing that much comparing to FRA or even CDG(and they announce it earlier).

Yes, its bad for the unions to start wild-cat stricks like this which harms our image but, ?can the Chairman of the same air line divert schedulled flights to bring his fiance when there was already a schedulled flight little later for her to use. ?What kind of publicity our national air line gain with such shoddy work by the boss. Under the circumstance, can we expect only the unions behave differently?

I do not agree that this was a reasonable demand but who can blame them, when they see guys and gals from " Nil Balakaya " are given jobs at the airport, basing on one person's recommendation and no qualifications are needed.
