Lee Hedges PLC
Subsidiary of Lee Hedges PLC, Lee Hedges Investments Limited that was incorporated as a BoI Company for the development of the property situated at No.349, Galle Road, Colombo 3, entered into a Lease Agreement with the Urban Development Authority (UDA) on October 30, 2014 to lease the said property for a period of 99 years at a total cost of Rs.521.8 million. The said property which is in extent of 51.8 perches would be utilized for a mix development project by the said subsidiary - Lee Hedges Investment Ltd. This announcement is made in accordance with section 8 of the Listing Rules of the Colombo Stock Exchange. A disclosure filed with CSE on October 31, 2014.
Serendib Engineering Group PLC
The Board of Directors of Serendib Engineering Group PLC proposes to increase the Number of Ordinary Shares in issue, by way of a sub-division of shares of the Company. The proposed sub-division of issued Ordinary shares of the Company will be on the basis of, sub-division of every one (01) existing issued and fully paid Ordinary Share into Five (05) issued and fully paid Ordinary Shares. Consequent to the proposed sub-division of shares the existing issued and fully paid 6.5 million Ordinary Shares of the Company will be increased to 32.4 million Ordinary Shares without effecting any increase to the Stated Capital of the Company. The increase of shares by way of sub division is subject to the approval of the Shareholders at a General meeting. A disclosure filed with CSE on October 30, 2014.

The Colombo Stock Exchange has approved in principle an Application for listing the debt securities of Janashakthi Limited. Debt securities to be offered: 5 million rated senior unsecured redeemable debentures with an option to issue up to a further 5 million in the event of an oversubscription at an issue price of Rs.100.00 each. Date of opening of the subscription list is November 12, 2014. A disclosure filed with CSE on October 30, 2014.
Dealing suspended
Dealing has been suspended upon receiving approval from the SEC to remove ASHA.N0000 from the official list of the CSE after the successful completion of the purchase of the securities by the majority shareholder. Accordingly, the above company will be delisted with effect from October 30, 2014. A disclosure filed with CSE on October 30, 2014.
Hemas Power PLC
On October 24, 2014 Hemas Power PLC informed that the sale of the entirety of 60 million shares constituting 50.0% of the total issued voting shares of Heladhanavi Limited to Lakdhanavi Limited at a total consideration of Rupees Rs.531.8 million was concluded on October 24, 2014.

The Colombo Stock Exchange has approved in principle an Application for listing the debt securities of Lanka Orix Leasing Company PLC. Debt securities to be offered 50 million Senior Unsecured Redeemable Rated Debentures at an issue price of Rs.100.00 each. Date of opening of the subscription list is November 18, 2014.
