Sure political agendas will closely tie up with CB decisions.

Ahh , at last, another view point. I was getting worried about there being too much agreement around here. Could lull one into complacency without realizing it.

Thank You.

You got the point.
I don't make predictions ( I am not good at that). But I looked at the past trends /patterns.
What do you think about the pattern emerging from following figures ( for last 4 weeks ) ?
Read the column heading as....
1. week ending
2. change in ASI - during the week
3. change in S&P -during the week
4. turnover- average daily
5.Gross foreign purchase - average daily
6. Net foreign purchases -average daily
7/11/2014--- 184--- 97--- 2,000--- 431--- 59
7/18/2014---- 61 ---31--- 1,245--- 368--- 125
7/25/2014---- 62 ---26--- 1,108--- 296--- 116
8/1/2014----- 26--- (6)--- 658 --- 140--- 61
( hope someone will advise me how to paste a excel table , here )

Thx Knock...!!
Good Analysis & Summery... yeas there are signs off reducing the "POWER" of moving
lets me put some points.....
- last week we had one day holiday - 29th July - Ramazan
- this pattern could be the cooling off signs - resting or else kind of correction of the market at current environment before the next RUN....!!!
- if there could be chance to drop ASI - it is comparatively minimal or also risk of struggling ASI between @6700-6900 may take longer time...... [but as it goes... its difficulty to break or stop ASI's forwarding... its moving at least slowly..... no signs of coming back.....yet]
but TC well !!!
coz who knows... not ME!

This week, the crisis in Iraq took its toll on world markets... but the ASI continued its relentless climb.
It would be healthy for us to take a breather at these levels (6,900~6,950) while events play themselves out. That would also give us a chance to look at corporate results and see whether valuations beyond 7,000 are justified.

Re: ASI - Beyond 7000 -
You know how CSE is . Full of extremes and has a life of its own.
When bear attacks , people S$%t in their pant and desert CSE and when Bull is here they are like a "Bull in the china shop".
Still no sign of any slow down. Foreginers are buying. This week inflow over 1 billion mainly thanks to "J the K wait for it and H"
BTw, wonder where the "Legend Dairy " person is who used to show up during red , and predicted CSE will go back to 5000.
