ලෝකයේ ධනවත්ම පුද්ගලයා ලෙස මයික්‍රොසොෆ්ට් සම අයිතිකරු බිල් ගේට්ස් පරාජය කරමින් 'ඇමසන්' සමාගමේ (Amason) නිර්මාතෘ ජෙෆ් බේසොස් ඉදිරියට පැමිණෙයි.

'ෆොර්බ්ස්' සඟරාවේ සඳහන් වන පරිදි ජෙෆ් බේසොස් ගේ මුළු වත්කම ඇමරිකානු ඩොලර් බිලියන 91.4කි. (ස්ටර්ලින් පවුම් බිලියන 70)

'ඇමසන්' සමාගමේ කොටස් මිල පසුගිය දා ඉහළ යාමත් සමඟ ජෙෆ් බේසොස් ගේ වත්කම බිල් ගේට්ස් ට වඩා ඩොලර් බිලියන 1.4කින් ඉහළ ගියේය.

එම සමාගමේ කොටසක මිල තවදුරටත් ඉහළ යනු ඇති බවට අපේක්ෂා කෙරේ.

ජෙෆ් බේසොස් ගැන ඔබ නොදත් කරුණු:

   මේ වසර මුලදී ඔහු වොෂින්ටන් නුවර පිහිටි පැරණි රෙදිපිළි කෞතුකාගාරයක් මිලදී ගත්තේය. ඒ සඳහා ගෙවූ මුදල ඩොලර් මිලියන 23කි.

   එහි අලුත්වැඩියා කටයුතු නිම කිරීමෙන් අනතුරුව බේසොස් පවුල ස්ථිර පදිංචියට පැමිණීමට නියමිතය. ඉන් පසුව ඔහු ඔබාමා පවුලේ සහ ඉවන්කා ට්‍රම්ප්ගේ අසල්වැසියා වනු ඇත.

   ජෙෆ් බේසොස් ගිනි නිවන හමුදාවේ ස්වේච්ඡා භටයෙකි.

   වසර 2013 දී ඔහු ඇමරිකාවේ ප්‍රධාන පෙළේ පුවත්පතක් වන 'ද වොෂින්ටන් පොස්ට්' ඩොලර් මිලියන 250කට මිලදී ගත්තේය.

   වසරකට තමන් ඩොලර් බිලියනයක් වටිනා භාණ්ඩ 'ඇමසන්' හරහා අලෙවි කරන බව ජෙෆ් බේසොස් පවසයි.

   එම මුදල් ඔහු ආයෝජනය කරන්නේ 'බ්ලු ඔරිජින්' නමින් හැඳින්වෙන, අභ්‍යවකාශ සංචාරයන් සඳහා සංවර්ධනය වෙමින් පවතින ව්‍යාපෘතියකට ය.

   1999 - ටයිම්ස් සඟරාවේ 'වසරේ පුද්ගලයා' ලෙස (Time's Person of the Year) ජෙෆ් බේසොස් නම් කෙරුණි.

   2000 - 'බ්ලු ඔරිජින්' අභ්‍යවකාශ සංචාරක ව්‍යාපෘතිය ආරම්භ කළේය.

   2013 - 'වොෂින්ටන් පොස්ට්' පුවත්පත මිලදී ගත්තේය.

sri lankan situation is different. you have to find some way to rob epf fund to become a rich man. this was started during last govt and after that under yahapalane the infamous full suit duo (r and r) started to rob it in day light and became rich. a super lady judge's husband found another way to become quick rich by robbing NSB .she was kicked out but sadharana pundits made a heroine out of the bandit judge queen.

The civil society should press the yahapalanaya govt., to cleanse the muck set in for some time now.

Actually u dont have to rob EPF to become rich. You can start doing it by becoming a politico and then rob the public money thru various scams.

Those days, the development was the talk - so u could easily use roads to scam money, just by carpeting a road u can rob millions.
How to do it? All u want is to get approval to renovate or carpet a long stretch, say Wattala to Kandana in 2017 end then in 6 months u can get another approval to renovate the road from kandana to Wattala.. The latter is free money since its already done. Of course u may have to bribe here n there but at least a 60-70% return is guaranteed in 6 months. This was founded by some Ex-Govt minister in 2012 or 2013.

yes small ,as usually things happen we  sri lankan public must protect our corrupt , stealing , stinking  ruler robbers by pointing out robberies of  previous robbers of other side. we must protect our robbers.carpet robberare shit , bank robbers vereeee gud. cheers .

Obviously we shud support to protect all robbers, they run the country after all..

Then again there are greater robberies too.. U can pre plan the sales of state assets (like Hamba port) and get low interest loans to develop them. Then if somehow u cant keep your power, when next Govt comes, weep putting innocent puppy faces like u have no idea why the hell new Govt. doing it.. At last the new ppl get trashed for ur planned wrong doings.. LOL..
In this case, u can secure more money as the deals are in $ millions.

Shit is everywhere, even though other ppl buy, u cant sell the toilet fittings everyday..
