A GREAT LAND and its NOT so great PEOPLE ?

There is great land  near the equator.  
Make no mistake , the land is great.  
But majority of the people are not.
Race, religion has nothing to do with it!   
Most are or let themselves be just manipulative, abusive, dishonest, ungrateful and above all indecent.  
So that land remains a nightmare to live in.
Many brains and decent people have left the  land as hope is remote

In this land ,

1)  selected people use/abuse the "system" to  get what they want always



2)  if someone rare with boldness stands up and point out a  obvious bad with obvious facts even


a) the wrong doers will never decently admit the wrong  like a decent human being

b) they make the "standing up guys" their sworn enemy  now ( aiyo what a mistake)

c) such then form gangs like a "bird of a feather  flock together" to vanquish their new found "enemy"

d) then use choice words,  mind games , behind the scene gang play/scemes , to cover up the done bad  and whitewash  themselves ( even legaly at times)

e) they easily find nice words to tell public to abscond from the truth and attack  the "whistle blower"  

f) wait it doesn't stop there ..
some carry their deep seated hate/vengence like serpents  till they get a heart attack
knowing jolly well even if their  "enemy" is silent/dead I will keep on attacking.




WAIT DID YOU OBSERVE THE MIRACLE ??

IN THIS MIRACULOUS  LAND , NOW THE WRONG DOERS ARE SCOTT FREE ALONG WITH THEIR SUPPORTERS.
THE PERSON WHO STOOD UP FOR PUBLIC CAUSE IS THE VICTIM.  


ACTUALLY  THE SADDEST PART IN THE LOVELY PROCESS IS,  A FRIEND IN DISGUISE IS MADE THEIR ENEMY.
THEIR TRUE ENEMY IS THEIR FRIEND for purposes they know.
 

HAIYOOO.... WHAT HOPE FOR SUCH PEOPLE ?  WHO CAN SAVE THEM?

In the meantime,  in this happy land, others thing carry on...


The  majority of PUBLIC knows well what is RIGHT AND WRONG.
Ofcourse they are not stupid or blind.

But they allow the foul system to carry on.

No mistake is corrected.  Even obvious intended wrong doing is let slip by.

They let the rich,  in power and otherselected few to prosper.  While majority to suffer including risk themselves being victims.

They  stand and watch shamefully to see the very same people who fight for their own  rights
getting hammered. Maybe the sme epople now some made their enemy may have saved your skin many times in the past ! WHO CARES right?

They  let the system frustrate themselves eventually  ( even if they are good people).

Then  they become victims of the system eventually

Some previous Good people are now  gone off track. WHAT A SHAME.

Finally  they have no choice but to become part of the system .

They let themselves to be such and fall prey to money or existing foul system.
AHOOO... Who can help them to see light but themselves.

AND THUS THIS VICIOUS CYCLE CONTINUES in this GREAT LAND.


Sound familiar the  system so far?  

Nepotism,  Buying out people with money, Bond scams, pump and dumps , smart promotions/demotions, gang play,   are familiar words in this wondrous land right?

Also in this land,

Those who have power,  keep getting richer while those who can't ( or are ethical) suffer /gets victimized.

The words such as "DECENCY , ETHICS , Gentlemanly/Ladylike behavior is unheard of.
Money, personal gains and  ego is forefront.

INGRATITUDE , short term memory losses , corruption, Backstabbing, scheming,  suppression of the people  who speak the truth , law breaking is abundant.

Lying  and denying is a Brutal Passion/Hobby.   

Manipulation is secret to success . Let flock with like minded and make a killing.


Now , if some stupid volunteer keeps battling for the common good for a decade and to show you the ethics , the system will do everything to eliminate him/her .

But never decently correct the mistake in best interest of humanity or  country/public spirit.


For in this land , where no one gives "s#t" for the wrong  
and no want for the land to be free/ reduced  of corruption and indecency ..

WHAT HOPE is there?


SUMMARY :

The innocent majority will suffer and pay for the "indecency" of the few.
It a TRUTH AND FACT.  
But NO ONE CARES.

Ultimately the few how sacrificed their life/times to stand up against the wrong are now the VICTIMS and the bad people. (Turned tables)

The STUPID are those who genuinely sacrificed their time, energy, health and maybe lot more for PUBLIC SERVICE for COMMON GOOD  but not their own benefit .

If such nice people ganged up with others .. they would get rich and every thing would have been fine.


BUT these stupid public sprited minority were  stupid.

Maybe  the standing up guys may have better/happier things to do , NICER people to meet,  fight  battles where they are heard to make a difference   than wasting time with "people in the land like no other"
But yet they do. Stupid people.

A Personal wonderful  flashback  from exactly about 2 year ago .

I specially remember how  I administratively sacrificed 6 hours of my life on Very special day to  defend this forum  when an external force  ( another forum) tried to divert the members to theirs.  
No other administrator or moderator was present .  I  recall Chuti and Nihal also helped.
Later FG came and we brought it under control. .

Along with 100s of other examples , what fond memories  to think  why  a few of us sacrifised 1000s of hours for a forum/bunch of ungrateful people . FOR WHAT PURPOSE? FOR WHO?
What if we used that time an skills to get other self richer in other ways?

Hmm.. it makes it   even more stupid to think,  with the same people I  fought against to defend this  forum ,  I could have easily taken up their offer to be ADmin there and maybe  get compensated for my time/energy/skills etc.  Yet I/we chose to make this forum grow  and be loyal here.


Now am thinking about the handful of OTHERS WHO GOT ABUSED too ! Poor souls.
Good karma will rewards you atleat right?  

But WHO WAS STUPID? No rocket science there  .. HaHa.

I remember you said in the forum before you have kids right?


I know you must have helped them,
spend loads of your time for them,
give love to them even when they make continous mistakes or are ungrateful  ,
and who knows you  may have used your body as a  shield to protect them knowing very well you will get shot one day.

Let look at a hypothetical situation.

Assume , your good kids,  get into bad company ... say at school.

You now sadly see  them getting victims/abused by some indecent friends who are using them for their means.

You see  them  getting brain washed too ( as their thoughts now  are off  the right decent track)

If you truly loved your kids,
sacrifized maybe your life and energy for them ,
while receiving nothing material in return ...


a) do you wanted to see them getting wasted and abused? NO

b)  do you want to see years of your effort going to waste? NO.

So what you do is STAND UP for their rights to safeguard and guide them.  

Lets say you keep doing this for several years while getting bullets your way.

But suddenly HAIYOO...

the kids themselves become ungrateful to you  ...while them knowing jolly well all the good you have done.

The kid's mother ( your wife ) ,   who may not be one of your adoring fans anymore ( just for arguments sake),  knows jolly well what you did  and how you sacrificed your life for them.

BUT ... She not only  keeps silent in this mess,  but takes sides to support the kids to join the uncouth friends.

So after maybe a decade of stabs and backstabs behind the stage ( do you see the irony with your name "Backstage" haha),

while  you KNOW exactly the BEHIND THE SCENE  GAMES/SITUATION that went on ...  

now only to see your own flesh and blood going downhill ...  

you decides thats  IT. You have to LET GO!  

YOU DONE YOUR DUTY. You have no blue blood on you hands. Everyone know it except the dishonest.
 

 Now there is nothing much you can do to anyone willfully wanting to be ignorant  ( kids or not)  but,  
 LET THEM HAVE THEIR OWN WAY AND LEARN THEIR  LESSON.


But deep down you secretly still hope they will never get seriously harmed  due to their own follies and associations .  In your heart you bleed for you kids ,  but there is nothing you can do if

a) they are ungrateful

b)  their mother is blind/ungrateful

c)  and even the other  friends and family are not standing up for justice  

and want them to go astray.

Story over is it? NOOO .......

Now you essentially you left the House, mind your business and let the ungrateful kids ,  wife and all others a BALL and have it their way.  You stand up for right in various place many other people don't know  even.


So essentially the "friends"  who took  your  kids off the right  road  ( kids want to be victims too)  has all the power and capacity to do what ever they wish  ( as you are not in the scene and you out of their way) .

Yet, some people in the gang,  back stabs you and keep stabbing EVEN when you are OUT of the picture.
Nobody in house or the society have  a backbone or guts to say ...

"Backstage is not here .... he is letting you have your ball... don't do dirty things and atleast honor that he raised the kids from they were little and tried to do good " !  


HAIYOO.. what a country and what kind of people right?

Your kids are Free. Their "friends" have all the power to get their way with the kids .
Yet  Dirty things happen behind the scene  to harm you  (  who is not in the picture eve)  


HAS THIS  PHENOMENA HAPPENED TO ANY DADS ( or Moms)  IN REAL LIFE.

In summary what do you want to  do following other great people in the world ?  

Be Mahathma Ghandi and practice non violence and counter attacks? Well you already did that right?

Be mother Theresa and grow compassion. Well you already did that right?

"The person who stood up for what is right for others good BUT got abused will  carry the wound.
The attacker, the opportunistic or unethical people  will not care or see "

Why ? THINK DEEP.  


2) If you did this volunteer raising kids "service"  

a) only when your time permits ( not sacrifising your other life )

b)  as means of getting hidden  benefits /agendas
 
c)  and said you did in the context of  pure love


 then no problem right?

WHY? A HOMERUN/HIT  for you 3 TIMES. You get triple  benefits.


IF NOT and you were GENUINE? AIYO stupid you.

So you start to wonder  WHY YOU  SPENT A LIFETIME and for WHOM ?

Could you  have used that decades of time  to make yourself richer , find another wife, play with girl friend,
drink Kasiya by the river by Waga...  to have  fun !

You also now have options to associate better quality humans who are honorable /decent and give you less headaches. Now what?

I guess this sum up the idea of majority of here who are sensible (may be the silent majority).
Some are kept silent because of organised attacks of so called seniors here with hidden agendas (not so hidden now, if you browse cyberspace, most of hidden activities that went behind the scene are now visible for any person with brain)
Greediness and ego may have lead them to this low level of behaviour.

2) Within the concerning displays of behaviors and attitudes of a larger whole, I see atleast a handful of bold, honest  and non egoistic people wanting to correct what is wrong and  stand up for what is right.

SLS is always good at dropping land-mines from air.

Let's forget shares and start talk on ragging.

I don't know how it is done now and how it was done in many other places.
But my experience was; ragging was carried out by many for;

1. Fullfill their Revenging on someone because they were ragged previous year.
2. Show up and boost up their personality in front of unchallenging freshers.
3. Find someone to start an affair.
4. Get some pleasure out by harassing someone.
5. As a part of a bigger political agenda.

They may cover it up by saying many nice things such as; getting to know newcomers, guide newcomers, eliminating newcomers stage fright etc.

But, as I recall now, majority of the raggers are doing that due to some minor mental abnormality or mental stress they are going through.
