This company started as a fully owned subsidiary of People's Bank to cater into Indian Lien of Credit to lease Ashok Leyland buses.

Company had a perfect change in three phases.. Once as a private limited liability company , next as a limited liability and next as a listed company.

The information provided after 2011 is important for investors as IPO came in 2011. Unfortunately timing of IPO was not perfect. It was the aftermath of CSE bubble thus the share which came to market at 18 fell down continuously until 11.

NPL ratio of PLC is proving the quality credit and it stood 25% up compared to last year but form the industry standard its one of the best.

PLC's NPL ratio for 2015 is 2.72% when the industry (NBFI) rate is 6.9%.

CFIN's NPL ratio for 2015 has risen by 36% to reach 4.53%.

Sector-wise NPL has risen by 20% for the financial year ending March 2015

" People's Insurance prepares to meet the imminent transition withing the changing regulatory framework. the propose listing on the Colombo Stock Exchange is scheduled to take off by the end of 2015 and the risk based capital model will be implemented by 2016 as a mandate requirement."

PLC.N own Fleet Management, Micro Fiance, Property and Insurance as subsidiaries. Listing of People's Insurance which is ranking number 5th of non-life insurance for the third consecutive  year, will make the performance  attractive further.

PLC has been increasing the number of branches in 2013 drastically and the results is yet to be seen.

One concept of marketing is the moment supplier increase the availability ( no of branches) and affordability ( less rates, leasing for registered vehicles, etc) its revenue goes up

For the first time I came across of calculating profit per employee in this company's annual report and that value is maintained around 3 Million

This company is doing well and has also taperred down its interest rates on deposits. As YK quite correctly mentioned, the financials are improving QOQ and the trend continues.

this share is worth for the LT holding and could make a massive capital gain if one is patient.
