Thanks Shashi and YK.

I think this is the share to watch now. Among export companies DIPD hasn't moved yet. The budget will be extremely export friendly one. I hope the export taxes will be removed completely in the November budget.

DIPD is likely to follow REXP and HEXP.

Future

There is one thing which I am worried.

Anyway this is why I need SLS here more active.

I sense as if there is a creation of Asset Traders rally like in 2011..Its true that forex is helpful for exporters now... but is the price of shares create rallies.. I get benefit..but I am confused... BOGA.N a nice rally...36% per day.. REXP .. its like day traders heaven...

This foolish economists now try to reduce the stamp duty of foreigners who are going to purchase assets..If so Overseas reality share price should go up... Is someone helping to collect OSEA at lower levels by reducing prices and soon to increase after budget proposal?

Good points YK. REXP movement is justifiable as this is going to report it's best profit this quarter.

BOGA, an increase of 32% within a day is too much considering the current earnings. BOGA operating at a loss and its NAV is just Rs. 5.50. It's too risky at the moment but traders can push this more.

Good points about OSEA. I feel JKH also will be benefited through its Waterfront project where they have many apartments and malls when foreigners are entitled to own properties in SL.

I strongly believe that the first preference should be given to Sri Lankan businesses. There s no point of killing a local business and give chance to foreigners.

I think DIPD is very safe to enter as it has not appreciated for months, a beneficiary of rupee devaluation, export company that would gain in the budget and a solid dividend of Rs.7.

Cheap Politicians have done so much damage to SL economy for their cheap popularity.

It seems DIPD is an innocent victim of that.

Who is responsible and who is not responsible

1. The factory- if the water is not disposed properly after including chemicals

2. The media - for not studying the case properly and giving the real picture...

3. The elephant- for not drinking the water of the area which created the stimulus for arouse people

4. The government _ killing people, and for relocating factory

5. We - for not discussing the problem

******************************

I am not touching about legal procedures as it belongs to lawyers and related professionals...

However this is how we have treated the companies of SL which bring forex to the country..

We are responsible in one form or the other.
Because;
1 - Sending incompetent people to legislatures,
2 - Creating a space for junk media reporting.

As you predicted before, DIPPED has come down to 80 levels.if it breaks ,what will be the next support level ? will the court decision have a positive impact on the share price? Thanks.

Kith,

There is a thing called 'Super Confessioners'. This term is brand new and is used by the media in the US especially for people who do super mistakes.

We need to order such an expert for SL with COO (Certificate of origin)from Mexico or Cuba.

So we are reading the annual report of DIPD.N000 again.

I created the octopus showing how Hayleys.N000 extend its tentacles through DIPD to TPL and KVal and many others...

Yet once I pasted and posted, I got the message " your message is too long to post" , so let me keep the octopus with me.

DIPD being a company with manufacturing and plantation shows a drop in earning in both sectors.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Plantation sector drop is for obvious reasons, that is drop of international price of commodities...Gloves profit drop is due to forex depreciation by other competing nations..!!!!!

PAT has comedown drastically after 2012...The infamous Rathupaswala incident took place in 2013 turning the PAT of the company for this drop...

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Stakeholders of company consist of different parties and Shareholders are just one. The company should have handled this water pollution incident very carefully and that was affecting to shifting the company location.

Finance, Manufacturing and F&B sectors often stay in a position to grow dividends... DIPD often showed the signs of growing dividends but had to face challenges..

As mentioned earlier this company owns about 5% share of the world gloves market and ranked among the world largest manufacturers in the hand protection industry.

In the supply chain of the company its marketing arm in Spain, ICOUGUANTIS SPA is doing well. In manufacturing the gloves factory in Thailand is contributing to profits. Thus the company has become a MNC.
